  1. ok. But did you know that that number is inversely proportional to driving pleasure, right? pay no attention to it, in the end it's definitely lower
  2. 20mm spacers on the front too? doesn't that interfere with the steering since it is 35mm lowered? in any case it looks good!
  3. let me tell you my opinion... these cars are made to tranform gasoline into smiles, not to turn gasoline into trips from A to B. Don't be shy and push that pedal! I mean even without exceeding the speed limits you can very well consume more than that. Anyway, just for you @shyVRS245
  4. Your mpgs are incredible. To get these results I guess it takes a lot of patience, that I certainly don't have! With all good will the best I managed to achieve was 12,5 km/lt - 35 mpg as an average for a full tank of gasoline (on stage1).
  5. If you only had a better fuel economy you could get a 678.9 trip...
  6. Same here... columbus and iPhone 7 , as the phone connects on bluetooth the ringer volume sets to max. And if I lower it, it returns almost immediatly at max. but didn’t find a solution yet.
  7. 14 kg in my case but i didn't consider it because i think (but i'm not sure) that I added something with the 390mm bbk. My 19x8'' trinity are 14.3 kg, the Racingline R360 19x8.5 are 10.8 kg.
  8. I'd say your weight is similar to mine and @newbie69's, considering the extra weight of my "bells and whistles" model...
  9. I understand that a good winter tire is essential in sweden. IMO it should be like this everywhere. But here in Italy it's the exact opposite... Are yours PS4 or PS4S? I didn't know that these are even noisier than S001, I think when the time comes PS4 should be the right choice to replace my S001. But I was hoping these were quieter.
  10. Nope Yes, if we consider the differences in equipment and fuel it seems to me that the numbers are more or less the same. So I think that the specs are not correct, or at least that they refer to far from reality conditions.
  11. For sure it will be interesting to compare! The weighbridge i used has a tolerance of +- 5kg...
  12. Same as mine. S001 are very noisy tires. I noticed a big improvement when last winter I fitted a new set of Michelin Pilot Alpin 5 235/40 R19 96W XL. Like night and day!
  13. yes, i think that 1.554 kg are for base model with 272 engine. But apart from sunroof (35 kg?) and spare wheel (15 kg?) I don't get what could make that difference. Maybe I should subtract about 40kg of petrol (i had just refueled). In that case from specs the car should weight 1.554 + 35 + 15 + 40 = 1.644 kg. But there are always 40 kg of difference. Or maybe the base model comes without seats and doors?
  14. Out of pure curiosity I wanted to weigh the car. From the spec it should be 1629 kg for the 2.0 tsi 4x4 sedan, including the 75 kg driver. In fact it turned out that it weighs 1685 kg. Trunk empty, without driver and full tank.
  15. I have to say that i'm pretty happy with my 3'' full exhaust. No drone, just a bit louder over 4k rpm due to the sport downpipe (catted). But i searched for the quietest set up possible, and installed a 15x9'' muffler that replaced central resonator which is the most restrictive element on the exhaust line (after the stock cat). OEM rear mufflers. 👍 if it can help you i installed NGK Racing Competition R7438-8, but I can't compare those sparks to stock ones because I had those mounted with all the stage3 hardware I didn't add an oil cooling system and car runs fine. the oil temperature remains at 98-103° C even with long journeys and with 35° C. I had to add an oil catch can but it's only because I would like to try to preserve the valves since i have not MPI, but on your 280 with MPI you should have no problems. of course a cone air filter improves the sound (or noise)!
  16. This is my stock 272 with 1 passenger on board
  17. I don't know exactly how it is possible. But consider that "cavauto" is the official GM and FCA importer for Italy. The importer registers the cars with their characteristics. There is certainly a way to justify a reduced power compared to the original version. I really don't know which way they get this registration, but I'm sure it has to be something really stupid like a pin that doesn't let you push gas pedal all the way down, so you couldn't get all the power out. 🤦‍♂️
  18. @Bigeater this would be a very good deal if you could get APR's dp with a free stage2 upgrade map!! no worries, you're welcome. The important thing is that you keep us updated about it!
  19. Ok, that would be fine. But no, this is not what I meant. I'd like to go with something like this (cruising the same way: slow and upshifting on low revs, that's how i would like it). @shyVRS245 you don't know what "superbollo" is. And what it means, here in Italy. Do you know how much you would have to pay for that RS5 here in Italy, over normal taxes? (331 kw - 185 kw) x 20 €/kw = 2.920 €/yr. This only for owning a car with more than 185 kw. So here it's better to import a brand new american v8 and get it registered with "250 hp", so you don't have to pay this hated tax called "Superbollo". Like this one, for example: This is why I want to keep my Superb as silent as possible, not meaning I hate this sound (actually I appreciate it even a little), but you need more than 4 cyl to get a proper sound on a car, IMHO...
  20. I know what you mean. And this is why I don't regret having spent xx.xxx € for a stage 3, we only live once. Anyway, even if I'm already used to it, every time i drive my Superb i have a big smile on my face. You're right. What drives me crazy is all that V8 porn (and Hans Zimmer's soundtrack too). Maybe it's because of this movie that my dream is to drive a loud v8 as a daily car, cruising at 1.000 rpm at low speeds for the whole time
  21. About 200 km - 120 miles. You have to tune it to stage2 to get the power from you turbo. With a downpipe it can work at 1.8 bar, but only with a map. Otherwise your turbo will be limited by your current map parameters and you cannot use its full potential. Without a remap you'will have the same performance and slightly better sound. Be careful if you choose Milletek's downpipe. I had to modify it, its supports interfered with the crankshaft.
  22. What!?!? Obviously you have to look at it. Now. I've seen this movie maybe 15 times ... and every time I watch it I enjoy it!
  23. Are you sure that it's the car the one that is crying for more? Jokes aside, if I look at my project objectively it is a waste of money. With a good stage1+ setup and a good dsg map too you got a fast and reliable car. But you know what? Thinking in retrospect I would do it again, in the same way. I struggle to stay objective about the car, a bit like Cole Trickle from "Days of Thunder" movie that @shyVRS245 mentioned (what an epic movie!)
