  1. I have the 2.0 TSI (190) and love it for what it is. The lowest mpg I've seen is 6.9mpg when i went a mile down the road towing my laden trailer. The best 43mpg. I changed to petrol after 20 years with diesel and am loving it. Overall I am spending about the same of fuel per annum as i was with my previous diesel Kia Sorento. The mpg is compensated for by having a smooth, quiet and powerful engine (don't forget the 0-60 is 7.9secs and it has 'launch control' for a bit of fun!). I also tow a 1600kg caravan and the towing mpg is the same as I got with my Sorento - the torque of the TSi is so good and 'diesel' like low down the rev range.
  2. My daughter has just bought a stock (already built) 1.5 TSi edition with a load of extras (that she had listed on a SEL) via Carwow. Got talking to the dealer about a new SEl and they sourced the Edition for her. Saved 23% off RRP. With these sorts of deals no need to 'go cheap' with lower spec cars. I have an SE L with loads of extras (saved 18.5% via Carwow last year. Never even thought of a SE
  3. Link to Revo is here but at the moment they are not listing the Kodiaq, however the 180 TSI is used in a lot of VAG models. https://www.onlyrevo.com An alternative Is Ecotune https://ecotune-scotland.co.uk/ both have agents across the UK
  4. Go on their website. I think you may find they already have software for the 180. The delay is due to the GPF and new ECU on the 190
  5. I have been researching remaps for a 2019 190 TSI these last few weeks. APR (expensive) and Ecotune have software available now for the new ECU. Revo inform me they are currently working on this engine/ECU now and hope to have the software available in a month or so.
  6. I now tow with a 2.0 TSI and it’s equal to my previous Kia Sorento diesel. No need to rev it up high for the power and I get the same mpg when towing my 1600kg ‘van. Modern petrol engines (esp TSI) are very similar to diesels now, with low down torque.
