  1. I am contemplating buying a cheaper sat nav (possibly Garmin Drive 5 Pro) ,and I already have a newer style cradle with clamping jaws. Aperture size seems to be 14 x 8 cms max.Can anyone recommend a unit that would fit ,and run via USB fitting on top of dash?
  2. Yes, but that is putting energy back into the system ,not increasing brake effort when needed............. a combustion engine creates vacuum, servo used to assist pedal effort....presumably no servo needed with the drag created ,lifting off power?
  3. Wouldn't pay that bloke from Fully Charged in shirt buttons = is he real.Quite a few people collecting must have gadgets from what I see. Still,if they have the money to chuck at it,it paves they way for the rest of us ,when we have no choice in time to come. How is brake assistance given I wonder - some from of electric driven vac pump to assist? Do they slow on uphill grades......?
  4. Couldn't be bothered with the dealers. Used some penetrating spray with long nozzle.Keeping off brake disc surfaces -sprayed the hub /wheel contact joint.Left it for two days.Raised the car ,wheel was loose on hub. Then used copperslip on loose wheel and hub mating surfaces,so should help in future......
  5. Will give it a try. On line vids show people bashing the wheel/tyre with lumps of wood, block hammers etc. Can't be good for the tyre wall or wheel rim. Alloys soon mash up......
  6. 2019 SE Citigo, noticed brake calipers showing some rusting. Decided I would paint them with heat resistant paint. After taking off wheel bolts ,found the wheel to be seized on the hub.Pulled and pushed for a bit,car was on jack and also axle stand. This is one for the dealers, but what happens on the roadside. Some call out guy sledging your wheel and tyre???
