  1. We ordered our Karoq, at the begining of April and from a phone call to the dealer begining of August it hadn’t been allocated a build number yet, probably looking like September/October then

Never had a problem with this company, even when they didn’t ship to the UK for a while, I got it sent to my cousin in Dublin, he reposted it to me and it was still far cheaper than UK prices, My contact through email was a lady called Magdalena, very efficient and polite, answered immediately, changed address from UK to Ireland, no problems, but then again,a different person maybe a different experience,
  3. Just a quick reply to this, I received an Email from them asking me to re sign in as they had updated the website, at the same time asked if they now delivered to the UK,, they said yes ,by Royal Mail, they hadn’t for a couple of years as Geopost do their deliveries, silly as Royal Mail own Geopost, so give them a try and let up know please the only reason I read this as my wife has just ordered a Karol, while I keep my trusty Yeti
  4. All my years servicing VW engines, the timing belt kit consisted off, Belt,Water pump, idler and tensioner pulley, never changed a crank oil seal in 15 years, but no not part of the kit sorry, sure its crankshaft and not timing cover oil seal?
  5. Good old Bill Maynard
  6. And another thanks for that link ,I can check all cars now for her before her trying out the one she fancies, its a lot of money to put as a deposit, then having to purchase a new scooter as well,
  7. Magic our Maurice, thats an actual larger opening than the Alahambra, which is 900 mm, ooh she wil be pleased
  8. Hi all, just a quick question, could anyone tell me the tailgate opening height, reason, my wife is looking at Karoq for her new Motability car, at the moment we have a Seat Alahambra, which is far to big for us but has a tailgate height of 900mm, for her scooter, I have tried looking at the specs and cannot find this measurement, would love some help from you guys,I would love her to have my yeti, while I get to chose a car for myself, lol, but it may meant changing her scooter as well as the car,
  9. They equated the speed. At an average of 10 KPH, which most are restricted to for warehouse work, some 24hr operations, eg food production would have 3 cam belts per year and on multi truck sites 40 plus trucks a never ending job, gas/petrol engines 2 hrs max, diesels 5 hrs labour time
  10. just a quick point on this topic,I worked on FLT’s for 15+ years ,all our engines where VW, we had to change cam belts at 3000hrs = 30,000 Km , the kits we got from VW always had a water pump included in the box, it was standard to change them at the time as it was considered false economy not to, you wouldn’t want to go back to customer and have to change it having just done the cambelt!, it is so simple to do as well, 3x 6mm nuts, new one in your left hand ,wobble the old one out and pop the new one in, 30 secs max, you don’t even lose a cup of fluid, quite a few tried it and it came back to biting them on their A*se, I could understand if it was difficult but as I’ve said easy, gives you peace of mind as well
  11. The model I have is the IB90MTLV 4gb/64 ,at the moment surplus, pity I’m not going over to Ashbourne else I’d bring it with me
  12. I found it very easy the connections, every one is tagged and labelled you can’t go wrong really,it fits perfect, as long as the correct quad lock is used, the only fault I found,I couldn’t get Apple CarPlay to work on my unit, despite trying various dongles, my latest Yeti 2016,connects to the smart link no problem, Siri, all my apps work so leaving it in, so I’ll be selling the Xtrons unit soon
  13. Ha ha , try forklifts mate, did 37 years working on them, check the voltage coming OUT of the relay if it drops too much it won’t work prperly
  14. Fishlex, order the rectifier that Gaff has highlighted ,this stops the black screen as it keeps the voltage, high
  15. Don’t forget to order the PAL version NOT the NTSC one😬
