Software Update - under warranty part of recall
@Choclab our dealer checked for software updates on my karoq last week, but nothing came up. Bought it last October perhaps it doesn’t fall into the group that needs the update. Interestingly, as of last week I cannot touch to unlock the car so now have to unlock it with the key fob, the same goes for the boot, but I can touch to lock - very frustrating. I’m hoping to get it booked in for a check - fingers crossed it’s just a recoding matter.

Touch to open Karoq isn’t working
Hi folks, bought my Karoq sportline in Oct 24, but I can’t no longer get into the car by handle touch or open the boot without pressing the buttons on the key/fob. Interestingly, I can lock the vehicle by touch. Any the key/fob worked for everything else, so there is clearly no batter my issue. Has anyone else experienced this issue? How did you resolve it?

Dash/cockpit rattling
@Choclab I hear you - the rattling is intermittent for us but we can see that the instrument cluster isn’t tightly fitted on the right hand side, I’ll see how we get on…

Dash/cockpit rattling
Hi folks, I have had my brand new Karoq for two weeks now and have noticed an annoying rattling noise from the cockpit area/instrument cluster, at first I thought it was the steering column but I now think it is the cockpit/instrument cluster section. Has anyone experienced this, how did you resolve it?

Drivers electric window switch stopped working
Hi Folks, the drivers side window switch for the drivers and front passengers windows has stopped working on my MKIII 2019 Superb. Has anyone experienced this issue? Garage have confirmed that the switch is broken and suggest that this occurred through misuse, which most certainly isn’t the case, have never experienced any issues like this with my amazing MKII 2012 superb which is still going strong.

Seats
That’s my issue, I can’t justify the cost/expense but I appreciate the idea/tact for a solution to getting electric adjustable seats in a sport line. I will, however, have to get on with the manual adjustment - I’ll mutter under my breath but I’ll cope
-
Seats
Yep - they say that normal seats will need to be put in, in order to have the convenience package - increasing the cost significantly. So I’ll have to live with the manual adjust.

Seats
Turns out that it will cost nearly £3k to add to the sportline and would push me into the premium tax group - so we’ll have to live without 😞

@IanPerry316 and @JayTee I’m looking at the convenience package, wondering if I can live without but having been spoilt by my superb mark II elegance which had the convenience package as standard back then, I’m giving it serious thought. Would you say it is worth the additional cost? I assume the option for settings per driver is a bonus - my partner and I alternate regularly between our cars.

Bodywork and alloy wheels protection
Hi @Gaz I was offered paint and fabric protection and then the bodywork protection. With regard to the new car detailing protection, did you take that out with the dealership? Thanks
-
Bodywork and alloy wheels protection
How about the body work protection they’re offering - 18 call outs for scuffs, dents, panel scratches and stone chips over a 3 year period?

Bodywork and alloy wheels protection
Hi All, I am about to pick up my new Skoda Karoq and the dealership are trying to sell me additional care options: ‘bodywork and allow cover’ @£549 for 36 months and ‘interior and exterior protection @£559’, is it worth it, does anyone have experience of these type of protections and are there better options from elsewhere besides the dealership? Thanks

When to buy a new Karoq
Hi folks, When would you say is the best time to buy a new Karoq 1.5 TSI DSG Sportline in February or March. Škoda have a £3250 deposit contribution offer on until 29 February 2024 but I wondered if there might be a better deal to be had in March when the new plates are released?
