Kodiaq (2019) - cannot start engine
If this is battery - how do I find the exact model that needs to be purchased ? Or can I charge it at home ? Or try to charge it ? I noticed that for a last couple of days (weeks ?) when I was arriving at a destination, the engine didn't stop automatically but was still working. I understand when it is summer and hot. But this is an autumn and the engine didn't stop either. And I had to turn it off with the start/stop button.

Rear brake pads 80% worn
Nope. They told me they know what needs to be replaced but they had to submit an approval request to VW UK to confirm it will be covered by all-in service.

Rear brake pads 80% worn
Hi @rbss , thanks for your message ! I am afraid I am not a person that fixes car from time to time and especially replacing brake pads. Unless it is dead simple ? How do I measure the pads ? Any picture which part need to be measured ? Re gear box - they will submit a request to Skoda UK and wait for a feedback if this is covered by all-in service. It will take a few days.

Rear brake pads 80% worn
Hello everyone, I got my Kodiaq to service today (inspection + gear box issues). They recommended replacing rear brake pads as they are 80% worn (3 mm remaining) and they are going to charge almost £450 for that. I am going abroad soon and I think I can have them replaced cheaper (I need to confirm that to be 100% sure though). It is first rear brake pads replacement since we have our Kodiaq (~ 6 years). How far (give or take) can I drive having 3 mm rear pads ?

Gearbox in emergency mode
Hi everyone, every now and then I have this failure (i.e. only even-numbered gears work) and I have to stop the car, turn off the engine, leave it for a while and then it comes back to normal (all gears are fine). I am going to EU for a while soon (planning to drive up to 2500 miles) and I wonder what if it breaks completely while driving (I have all-in service). Is there any way to fix this before going to EU ?

Skoda Service Plan (All-in) vs car insurance
Hello everyone, I recently purchased Skoda service All-in plan for 2 years and have to renew car insurance soon. It looks like some stuff are covered in both i.e. this is what my current car insurance cover: The All-in plan covers: 2 services 2 MOTs 2 Years Roadside Assistance Up to 2 years Warranty I wonder if I can it makes sense to invest in insurance that thas Breakdown cover. Any hint how to approach it ?

Gearbox in emergency mode
I looked at the All-in plan and cannot find anything about gearbox. Is it hidden behind "2 years Extended Warranty" ?

Gearbox in emergency mode
Hello everyone, the following message appeared suddenly in the alerts today: Gearbox in emergency mode. and I cannot use gears 1, 3 and 5 (tried also in the manual mode - didn't have chance to try 7). Do you have any idea what might happen? (I had an alert about inspection for a while). No guarantee any more.

And I received the following email as well from Skoda service : Your vehicle has contacted us requesting a service, if you would like to make an appointment we are curranty booking 14 days ahead. How (technically) does the car connect to Skoda service ? Do they have SIM card ?
