I can see a sticky behind the upper part of the trim, looks about 30 x 10 x 3mm . I’ll try getting it off the one remaining side (car) that its stuck to and match it up with something the same thickness, but maybe a bit wider to give a greater grip. We shall see 😀

Thanks, I have some 3M sticky pads somewhere, I’ll have a go at sticking it back down.

Any idea how this trim attaches? Looks like there may a sticky pad behind it, but I’m not sure. As you can see, it’s not flush with the adjacent trim.

My Kodiaq was serviced and mot’d last week at a main dealer ,all regulations and procedures were adhered to as far as I could see . I didn’t have eyes on the car during the work of course, I just had to take it on trust that adherence was enforced to our mutual benefit. I feel lucky considering.................. My nephew has lost access to his BMW for the last ten days as the small independent (BMW specialist) garage has gone into lockdown with his car inside ! One of the mechanics came down with C-19 and they immediately shut up shop. 😬
