  1. My last car had an electric handbrake as well this one. Both wore out the rear brakes before the front. But, 19,000 does seem a little soon. Do You have hill start assist switched on? Easy repair for a small (cheaper) independent garage to carry out.
  2. It looks like the A pillar seal flange is the wrong side of the glass . 😬
  3. Thanks for the tip, I’ve got some on order now. πŸ‘
  4. Forgot to add thanks for the excellent advice! πŸ˜„
  5. Finally got around to fixing this, I bought the later type front mud guards and used a 3M sticky pad. You can see the difference between the old and new type mud guard.
  6. Glad to hear πŸ‘ I guess you’re wondering what to do with the replaced bits too. 😊 I think mine will be heading for the tip soon.
  7. As Kenny says, I took the photo before I fitted the final double sided section (the big bit sticking up in Kenny’s picture) that makes the whole floor flat. I think I still have the instructions in my garage, I’ll take a photo of them if I have.
  8. Bit of a bargain! I’ll definitely get it done soon. Thanks
  9. I did consider swapping it myself, but read conflicting advice on whether coding would be required and I don’t own any device to clear any fault codes that might be generated by disconnecting the battery. So I had it fitted by a Independent VW specialist in Stockport. I’m not sure how often I’ll use the paddles, but the wheel feels much nicer to hand than the original. I’ve order some cheap paddle extensions from AliExpress, but not sure if I’ll fit them yet. πŸ€”
  10. Thanks for the heads-up πŸ‘ How much was the Haldex service?
  11. I bought it from https://www.theskodashop.co.uk/collections/skoda-interior-exterior-trim/products/skoda-three-spoke-sports-steering-wheel-alcantara about 3 weeks ago when it was on offer for Β£185 , unfortunately it’s gone back up in price now. It uses the original airbag. 😊
  12. Just had a flat bottom alcantara with paddles steering wheel fitted. Much nicer than the original. πŸ€—
  13. I look forward to it πŸ‘
  14. I have an Edition with chrome grill surround, window trim and roof rails. I changed the grill surround for a black one myself, but wasn’t able to save the old chrome one from breaking. I think you would have to remove the bumper if you wanted to preserve the old grill surround, I wasn’t bothered and broke it on removal from the front. I’ll have the window trims wrapped in black eventually but the roof rails I’m not sure about yet. You could swap them for black ones, but would have to remove the roof lining to do so. πŸ€ͺ Not something I could be bothered with and the rails are brushed aluminium rather than chrome, so I don’t mind them so much.πŸ˜†
  15. Are you talking about Revo? Do you have a link?
  16. I thought exactly the same πŸ€”.
  17. Thanks for the information, I hope Revo help out us 180 TSI owners too. 😊
  18. Fitted the space saver wheel today, pretty straight forward really. I’m not sure what to with the redundant bits though. πŸ€”
  19. Sorry John, it’s a space saver. Unfortunately I don’t own an vRS . πŸ˜”
  20. Hoping to drive to Germany in September, so I decided a spare wheel was a sensible purchase.Just got to fit now.πŸ˜€
  21. I have bought a few of things off them, a battery cover, boot lights and DSG stick Cover . Impressed with the quality and service. πŸ‘
  22. Well Silver1011 how did it go? πŸ™‚
  23. Have you tried https://www.gadtuning.co.uk/ ? They have your engine listed with a 30 h.p. Increase, but don’t specify a particular model year.
