DSG Thermostat
My 2.0 tdi 2020 Kodiaq is dropping engine temperature when coasting, I asked a mechanic for a price to supply and fit a DSG thermostat and he said that the car didn't have one? Before I start looking at the main thermostat/pump can anyone please confirm whether or not the car is actually equipped with a transmission thermostat

help required desperately
Head unit updated in october to latest sofware when car went in for a service and maps updated via sandisc card formatted to NTFS last week with no issues so I have to agree

150 Edition DSG non-starting
Had this happen once about 4 months ago when it was just turning over and not firing with same car (edition 150 TDI), left the car for about 15mins and tried again and it fired up straight away. It's never happened again since. I put it down to an electrical blip on the immobiliser that reset itself when I locked the car.

Fuel tank punctured and diesel stolen
Yes London. Skoda assist picked the car up and my fault- I told them to take it to main dealers- I was too angry at the time to think about trying to find something that might be cheaper and wanted it done ASAP. It happened in the evening so it was too late in the day to get quotes when the car was being picked up the same day. Once at the dealers then the tank was dry and I would've had to pay for recovery to collect from dealers and take to a new place so I just let them do it

Fuel tank punctured and diesel stolen
For anyone wondering on the cost of a tank replacement on a 4x4 tdi then you're looking at £2181.01. Keep an eye on your cars people. Apparently the rear subframe has to come down and all the 4x4 system and wheels have to be re-aligned- Quite a sizeable job. Tank itself was around £600 with replacement parts required to fit it. But still, at least some piece of ****e got a couple of litres of fuel!

Fuel tank punctured and diesel stolen
Premiums would rise for the next 5 years and they're already high enough now, no claims not protected so probably cheaper in the long run to deal with it myself. Skoda assist is picking the car up later today and taking it in

Fuel tank punctured and diesel stolen
No, no cctv anywhere near it sadly. They can't really have even gotten much fuel as there was only one hole and the fuel filler cap hadn't been broken into to allow air to get in. A couple of litres for them and a bill of a few hunderd for me by the looks of it.

Fuel tank punctured and diesel stolen
There's some real crap out out there that masquerade as human beings, 3 quarters of a tank gone at a time like this. Now I can't get to work and have to figue out how to get this mess sorted. Anyone know how much a replacement tank is for a 2L 4x4 diesel 150 supplied and fitted?

Got a quote inbound, should have it by monday, will pit it against the insurance excess and decide from there

Came down this afternoon to find this
I hope so, will get it down tomorrow for a quote. Damage extends to the front panel as well as the wing though so I think I may be unlucky, or unluckier still given that I was unlucky to have this happen in the first place
-
