  2. I have been contacted today and informed that while its in for its 1st service they need to keep it for 2 days for the update which they were notified about in the last week, Hope they don’t mess things up its running ok and everything is working.
  3. My work round is plug the car in early evening then immediately switch it off on the app, I always have a couple of toilet trips a night I the switch it on from the app on my phone and select how much to put in %
  4. I have an outside 7Kw socket, dont think there is a timer for that
  5. Are you using a granny charger ?
  6. Ive had my car coming upto a year, I don’t believe we will ever see this feature, perfectly happy otherwise
  7. Sorry guys you are never going to see this feature, stop stressing and enjoy the car
  8. I would say if your car was produced before mid July you will not be getting the departure planner, going off past information from Skoda I have no reason to believe it will be introduced in July either. I got my Kodiaq mark 2 in September and have given up hope of ever getting it
  9. Hi pheverish, I’m assuming this update is from Skoda and not the dealership, they admit this functionality is a key feature for PHEV and Electric vehicles, not to mention false advertising, They must at some point get this feature working, its just when
  10. I use Waze all the time and don’t feel the need to use any other sat nav
  11. Yes mine does the same a lot of the time, I go into my iPhone setting and switch off WiFi I then start getting instructions through my iPhone, using 4g I then switch WiFi back on in setting on my phone and live maps in the infotainment works
  12. For some reason all replys to this topic have been removed and there were quite a few, the only one left is the one from SorinB
  13. Totally Peed off, my Kodiaq PHEV is booked in at the dealership for 8pm this morning and I am now waiting here at 1.30pm for the breakdown guys, as you may be aware there is no departure planner on the mark 2 Kodiaq PHEV so I plug the car in at around 8pm and immediately switch off on the app. At 1am (cheap rate) from my bed I try to activate the charge to start from the app on my phone, unable to connect so I get up to unplug the change cable and plug back in, I am unable to open the car on the key fob, or extract the charge cable so I extract the key from the fob and open it manually, everything in the car is dead nothing works. I phone Skoda assist and I am now waiting the breakdown guy, it wont be Skoda assist but a local company so I’m hoping he can resolve the issue. I have waited 2 months to get my car back at the dealership to resolve software issues (driver assist systems have not worked for over 2 months) I’m beginning to regret buying this car.
  14. Yes its a dealer visit, they contacted me yesterday and and told me my Kodiaq is on a recall, assist systems have not worked for a couple of weeks, they want it the full day, earliest I can have a curtesy cay is January 13th so its booked in for then
  15. Thanks DaveSuperb for the update. Jim
  16. I don’t know Ootohere, I’m a bit lost with this sort of stuff 🥴
  17. This is all I’m seeing on the service menu.
  18. I guess I can wait for one year or 9000 miles to elapse whichever comes sooner and see what the car tells me as regards oil change and or service, and in the meantime I could contact Skoda support for their take on it
  19. The infotainment tells me how many miles I should get out of what’s in the tank, it then counts down every time i drive on petrol, I’m not sure at this point if it does a lifetime count if you know what i mean, I picked it up 10 days ago and the dealership filled it up, it was showing 525 miles range on petrol and I’ve been doing a fair bit of running about all on electric, the petrol range is still showing 525 miles
  20. My information is the car monitors how the car is driven, I’m assuming either on petrol or electric and advises when any sort of maintenance is required, I will check about the oil though with the dealership, out of interest my last car was a Superb iV PHEV I visited the petrol station about 4 times a year so I’m guessing around 2000miles at the most were covered on petrol, the Superb was only giving me a range of just over 30 miles on electric in summer and considerably less in winter, the Kodiaq from all revues should give me around 70 miles on electric and up to now that seems to stack up on what I am finding at the moment, so I expect to be using much less petrol than I did in the Superb
  21. Yes its a PHEV, exact model is Kodiaq Estate 2024 1.5 TSI iV 204 SE 5DR DSG (petrol)
  22. In conversation with the dealership I can pick either a one year interval or two year interval for my service after discussing my relatively low annual mileage less than 8000, as far as I am aware no other inspection or oil change or filter
  23. Hi folks just an heads up, I’m in the second week of ownership of a new Kodiaq iV, I went to check the oil level only to find there is no dipstick, the manual shows where it should be but it wasn’t there only a blanking plug covering the tube, I contacted the dealership who informed me that there is no physical dipstick as it is now digital, after searching the infotainment I found it in a sub menu, don’t know how many new Skodas this applies to, wouldn’t you think the manual would be kept up to date, it makes me wonder what else is not adequately covered in the paper manual.
  24. Yes Dave this is the workaround that I use on my new Kodiaq iV, my cheap rate with Octopus is from 00.30 to 05.30, its not too much of an hassle switching on from my bed at 00.30 but its good to hear that Skoda is addressing the issue soon (I usually have a couple of toilet trips a night anyway 😢)
  25. Hi Stemac, I have always thought the charging flap to be very flimsy, up to now everything is ok on mine since the dealership fixed it
