A retired flyer, I have a passion for old motorbikes, machine tools and making things.  I trained in Engineering, worked as a motorcycle mechanic, then fled and joined the RAF and ended up travelling in aluminium tubing for over 35 years.  Rarely to be seen without a tool or spanner in hand in my spare time.  I like to keep my mind working, even if the rest is falling apart..................
