Amundsen MIB2 Firmware Update
cnoble87 replied to nopowerman's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk III (2013 - 2020)
not sure what i'm doing wrong, trying to update the software on my H41, using a sd card formatted as exFAT and tried ms-dos (i have a mac so not sure if that is part of my problem) i have the correct file from pab567 MST2_EU_SK_ZR_P0478T, press an hold menu, launches the software update, it recognises the sd card, press update but then say unable to read file, ignition is on, can't think what else to try? thanks for any help -

help! Another Apple Carplay issue....

sorry to add it did always used to work. thanks, will try the factory reset, is the firmware update via the portal? i did check but seemed to be mostly maps. -
I've read through the previous topics but not found a solution. Basically my carplay on my '18 plate octavia technology with the big screen has stopped working, just get the message "reading usb device" it does charge but nothing else. 100% not the phone or cable, as other phones won't work either, and my phone works on other cars its just gone out of warranty so rather not deal with garages quite yet. a "hard reset" has been discussed but i'm not sure how to do that? Its a fairly massive inconvenience, part of the reason I bought the car. Any tips from anyone?

Hi i'm New here, i've recently bought a 2018 1.6 Se Technology octavia with 14,000 miles on the clock and i've noticed a few times now that at some random point the car resets the "long term" and "since refuel" trip computers back to zero miles. i know for definite i haven't pressed the reset button above the steering wheel, or reset the long term data through the car HMI, or reached any specific mileage where it would reset, had the car serviced or disconnected the battery , I am the driver of the car. I know its the not the end of the world but its frustrating and i don't want the problem to manifest as something more serious. i've spoken to main dealer and they said bring it in, but i don't want to get stung for labour if its something i'm inadvertently doing myself. Has anyone else had this issue?
