Hi there.Was wondering would stretched timing chain cause one cylinder to misfire?Pluged in scanner on saturday and when navigate to menu with timing chain tensioner position it was on mark 8.Thats hell of a stretch as after research while ago found that 5 is sort of danger zone already.Anyways no chain rattle whatsoever

In past 2000 miles I have changed: Spark plugs Coils Cam fallower High fuel pressure sensor Intake valve clean/injectors Cam shaft sensor.Moast of those parts had to be changed sooner or later as it has rolled over 100k and plugs for example have been replaced 40k ago.Fuel pressure and cam shaft sensor was a blind shot just in case it changes anything but no it didnt.Taking to garage is pointless been in 3 and no one can tell anything

Hi everyone.Does anyone have handy vacuum line diagram?Suspecting small vacuum leak and been thinking of replacing all vacuum hoses as inspecting them did see any failure but cant think of anything else what could cause engine running a bit rough on idle.Thanks

Hi guys.Looking to buy inyector seals but been struggling to find them for my Octavia Vrs.Have managed to find some now which looks same but last letter of part number is different.How big role does it play? My injector part nr is 06H906036G.Would the seals from this image fit?

I had slight judder on idle and couple of time misfire in one cilder.Cleaned injectors myself and on had very bad spray pattern that I suppose was causing misfire.Well now all clean just waiting for injectors seals and will see how it goes

I ve bought car with 77k on clock since than premium oil premium petrol and regular servicing.Seen somewhere that cleaning should be done every 60k

Now no wonder why i had a slight engine judder on idle.Injector nozles all clogged up too

Hi everyone.Well not sure with what to start.I have slight engine judder on idle hot or cold engine doesnt matter eaven on cold start its same.Didnt had any codes for a while until 2 days ago driving to work and car lost power started to shake and check engine light came on.Pulled over switched ignition off turned back on all good no engine light and car runs fine apart from juddering on idle.Went to work pluged in scanner and faults poped up as low fuel rail pressure and missfire in cilinder 3.So far have changed spark plugs as was done while ago then new coils(all) suspected camshaft sensor so changed that too and tomorrow will be replacing crankshaft sensor. By the way there is no increased fuel consumption and moastly car performs as it should however sometimes I notice that it doesnt pulls as good as should do and then next moment its fine again.I ve been in 3 garages so far and no any solutions whatsoever

Let me know when you do it.I am not in rush.Just planning to do carbon clean soon so will take out and clean all injectors too

Did you use special tool for teflon seals?I ve seen someone just slided them on with a little help of pick

Hi guys.I am after seals and O rings for injectors not sure where to get them from.In past was getting all genuine VAG parts from Tps Vw but now they are trades only.Also looking for some other bits too so maybe someone know genuine parts shop online well except dealer. Thanks in advance

They not cheaper then Euro. For example coils just purchased recently in Euro on sale for Bosch paid £32 there they have some unknown brand for £30

A bit late tho but I am usually getting all filters from Euro carparts.Oil and all other fluids Liqui Moly from worldoflubricant.co.uk.If you service car your self fuel filter will be a bit tricky.Check out video on youtube change fuelfilter on mk6 Gti by Deutsche auto parts.Exactly same same thing as on VRS mk2.I did all fluid and filter change straight after purchase of car exept air filter as it was visibly new By the way what are those wheels? Looks good

They does require more maintanece.I have been driving my Octavia for about 30 thousand miles and cant realy complain.Have done all maintenance work on time with good quality oil and havent had any major issues with it.Now I have 102 thousand miles on clock

I know what you mean with that video but that is not my case.I am planning to do a valve clean my self when will have a couple of days free.Also want to pull out injectors too and clean it

Its constant and engine temperature doesnt change anything.

I will do that next week as friend of mine have borescope.Dont think any of those sprays work tho.To maintain after cleaning every couple of thousand miles that would do but to remove carbon buildup that causing lights coming up or affects engine functioning correctly only way to clean it would be removing manifold and doing manual cleaning on valves.

Hi there.Was wondering if anyone can help me to solve this issue.Basicly engine on Idle not running smooth.On Idle there are something like 2 very light misfires I would say one after other.Rpm needle have almoast unnoticeable movement but I can feel it inside that it judders. Car drives fine and no any fault codes too.Have changed spark plugs and coils without any success.Also after turning ignition off engine kind of judders a bit.I was thinking about vacuum leak somewhere but after inspection and spraying carb cleaner on vacuum hoses didnt find anything.Any ideas are welcome guys.I ve been in couple of garages and they couldn't find anything what could cause problem so will have to figure it out my self

Same for me.Been trying to fix it couldnt find anything wrong with it.I suspect that it could be off from pump itself

Changed oil pressure swich and car runs sweet as.No more low oil pressure.Figured out that it could be sensor as there was no any rattle with warning light.Then also engine looks prestine when taking oil cup off so rulled out blocked oil pickup pipe.
