  1. Just had a Bosch A330H delivered but doesnt fit - its got a newer style fitting - mine is the older shepherd crook style end to the wiper arm. The model on eurocar parts now suggests H241 but when I look that up on ebay it says it doesn't fit. Do I really need something specifically for my Roomster or is any generic 13" blade with that bent metal type fitting going to do? Not sure what that bent metal type fitting is called? Any recommendations pls? Thank you folks.
  2. Thank you very much for all this information. The link to the exploded parts looks great. Thank you.
  3. Want to change front discs and pads. Looking on euro car parts there are 2 thicknesses of discs - 19mm & 22mm - thicker more expensive - will my calipers/ pads fit either? any tips? thank you. Prob going for the eicher as the cheapest. Rear shock absorbers - found Drexel G Force on ebay - £39.95 for 2 - that sound ok? or is there a better option for that price? Any particular tips? Watched a couple of yt vids. Should I buy the rubber bushes for the top at £10 for 2? - Critical? Thank you folks ManufacturerSkodaModelRoomsterYear2008Engine1.9FuelDiesel minimum thickness 22mm or 19mm? 104440719 Pads - 101440569 for SKODA ROOMSTER 1.4TDI ,1.9TDI 06> REAR SUSPENSION SHOCK ABSORBERS X2 £39.95 for 2 Drexler G Force -
  4. Thank you very much for your help - appreciated
  5. Wanting to carry a sit on canoe on my roomster 2008 diesel. It has the rails. Seen a cross bar rack set up on ebay for £69 - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/264706086267?fits=Car+Make%3ASkoda|Model%3ARoomster&hash=item3da1b6557b:g:3A0AAOSwNZRfEFW7 anybody used one of these or recommend a better option? Thanks folks.
  6. Motor on the blink. Can anyone advise best place online to purchase a new / half decent one & linkage that won't break the bank. Friend suggested second hand but wouldn't that likely be problematic too? Thanks folks
  7. yep checked - no difference - whats the significance of that? Thank you
  8. Stopped suddenly in the down position. Not sure if I've pressed something unusual? Hit the 'reset button on the wiper arm - not sure what that does - no effect. Any help appreciated folks. Thank you (Roomster)
  9. Crikey - no I had no idea there were bulbs there!!! Are they a standard bulb? I'll order some. Thanks silver1011
  10. Thankyou CA6- sounds really plausible - just bog standard o rings ?- will look for these next time I open it up - appreciated
  11. FIXED! In desperation gave a bang to the whole unit - suddenly it's working - on the upside I now know the fuse unit & how to remove the lights / bulbs etc. Also didn't realise there were 2 sizes of fuse - need to buy some of the mini ones (do they have a name??) Must have been loose somewhere. Cheers Wino
  12. yes number plate works & fron tleft side light - ok thanks top right - but it works anyway - dont have any of those smaller fuses - will need to get some
  13. Indicator works. Left rear lights don't. Tested bulbs for continuity - through outer case & inner 'lump' on the bottom. Can't make head nor tail of fuses - panel diagram doesn't seem to correlate to what's there . What are the rear bulbs / lights called? parking lights? Thanks. Have tested each fuse in panel with multimeter except the extra large ones without the testing window.
