  1. Mine is arriving at my house at 8.00-8.30 tomorrow. Won't be many 23 plates out and about
  2. Is that not then all cars? Manual isn't an option on any engine or trim anymore is it?
  3. Mine is finally at the dealer as of last week. Requested delay until March and i now have a confirmed delivery date of 1st March and a 23 plate, nice.
  4. My current cars lease was up beginning of Dec and VVFS were the same with me, extended for up to a year. Bear in mind you will need to arrange a collection date for the current car with BCA which could need arranging a month or so before, so you could end up with (and paying for) both cars for a number of weeks My build week was 48 and i'm still waiting, was told next update will be 7th Feb, but i've told them i want to delay to early March, so i can get a 23 plate and also allow me to arrange BCA collection now for an early March collection.
  5. Update from my broker yesterday, car is allegedly still in transit, next update expected 7th Feb. Think i'll ask if it's possible to delay registration to March to get a 23 plate in that case
  6. I got final paperwork for my lease last week, stating expected registration date of 31st Jan, so not long for me now either
  7. No, nothing yet, but i dont have contact with the dealer, it's a lease through fleetprices, intend to chase them this week as i need to arrange return of my current Octavia with BCA
  8. I ordered early July. My build week was apparently wc 28th Nov, last update was 20th Dec, built and in transit from factory to dealer, no idea if it was waiting for a boat or already in country at that point, but guess I only have another week or 2 to wait
  9. Order placed for a lease in early July this year. Email yesterday, due to go into production next week, delivery expected to be Jan Kodiaq 2.0TDI SE Drive 5 Seat in Energy Blue
  10. Worth asking, but dont hold your breath for a huge saving. Asked a similar question on my lease car, monthly price would drop, but almost all savings wiped out by an 'admin fee', so didn't bother Dont agree with the above, yes VWFS want their money either way, but if you just hand the car back at the end and dont pay the balloon, they get a lower mileage, more valuable car, so logically monthly payment should reduce and balloon increase.
  11. Hi all. Order placed yesterday for a Kodiaq Never had an SUV before, currently driving a 2019 Octavia estate 2.0 TDI SE Technology, one of the last of the Mk3's Have ordered a 2.0 TDI 150 SE Drive 5 Seat in energy blue, poverty spec as they say. I'm leasing, so was restricted to certain models and trying to keep costs down. Toss up between 1.5 petrol and 2.0 diesel, diesel won as I have that engine now in the octavia and didn't fancy the loss of torque on top of the heavier weight of the car Was a tough call on SE drive vs SEL, SE drive won as it was cheaper and also the only model with 5 seats. I'll never use the 3rd row of seats, so the bigger boot, better 0-60 and better fuel economy of the 5 seat won out over the leather seats of the SEL The colour, again, me being tight, didn't fancy an extra £600 over the length of the lease to go for grey, so sticking with the blue which i have now in the octavia. A slight concern that the kodiaq being so much bigger that the blue may be a bit much, but we'll see. My only other concern is how different will it feel going from a mk3 octy to a 2022/3 kodiaq, how different are the interiors and 'feel' of the car, will i after a couple of weeks feel like i'm not in a new car? Anyway, been told lead time is 26 weeks, not sure how realistic that is, anyone know? Guess i just need to forget all about it for 6 months or so Cheers Brighty
  12. I have front assist and front parking sensors on my se tech. I have bumper sensors. Wife's scala has front assist but no front parking sensors, no bumper sensors. Front assist is a radar that should be behind your grill, there'll be nothing on the bumper. Don't think the sel gets front parking sensors, so you won't see anything on the bumper
  13. First proper run out in the octy today, after 3 weeks of just commuting. 260 mile jaunt North to South with wife, 2 kids, dog in cage in boot, rest of boot fully loaded with clothes and Xmas pressies. Totally effortless, car even though fully loaded pulled like a train and boot swallowed everything. Even played with the digital radio gadget, Xmas songs to keep the family happy, as apparently Slayer on my sd card wasn't very festive.
  14. Had mine 2 weeks now, very happy with it. So much so, ive ordered a Scala for the wife which will be here early/mid Jan (a stock car that was already on the boat) My only niggle is that i cant figure out how to make it stay in sport mode rather than defaulting back to normal every time you start it. The 18reg golf courtesy car the wife currently has (crashed her Fiat 500 last week, a month before it goes back, doh!) stays in sport mode. As i said before, your car is about 4 weeks behind mine, so my guess is you'll get it in a couple more weeks, they might be able to rush it out before crimbo.
  15. Mine was at the port released to ship (cleared customs so ready to leave) a month ago, its being delivered tomorrow
