So next question is, how do I delete it!!! What an absolute noob 🙈

Thank you, hadn’t considered that 🤦🏻♂️
Will delete now that they are on the car 👍🏼

It’s official, or will be tomorrow once I have given it its first clean. Thanks for the stickers and hopefully the extra bit of advertising will attract more like minded enthusiasts to this place to share their knowledge or like me.... learn from everyone else’s!

As a fellow motorist, can I politely ask that you do not install led bulbs? Please.
The dazzle can be unpleasant, one local car has bulbs so bright and throwing light backwards that the registration is invisible.
Hi @gregoir, I completely agree that some of the LED Bulbs are inappropriately bright but as @silver1011 states these were originally fitted as standard to the Transporter that I have just returned and are exactly the same as the bulbs that my Wifes Leon FR has fitted so you should still be able to see the registration plate.

Thank you @dezmonde that is great to know. Now to find someone local with the necessary equipment to carry out the coding.

Apologies in advance if this has been answered elsewhere, I have searched but cant find specifics.
My old company car which happened to be a van (VW T5 Kombi) happened to have LED number plate bulbs which looked completely out of place and I though would look much better on the Octavia! It was a very simple swap (complete unit from T5 fitted straight in) and they look so much better than the standard bulbs that were in there. However it is now throwing up an error code on the dash and asking me to check number plate bulbs on the system! Doh! Gone are the old days of modding where you could just swap over without upsetting the cars computer system.
Any ideas, help and general input would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you guys and girls

And so it begins, it’s first time sat patiently at the train station....
A 64plate manual with 38000 on the clock, winter pack with pano roof and a lot of Glasgow addresses in the Sat Nav!
A few subtle mods planned for the new year but for now I will get used to the very different driving experience compared to the Transporter I have had for the past 3 years!

Holy crap, reading this has just made me even more excited for my collection tomorrow morning! Unfortunately my days of modifying to this level have long gone with a young family in tow but will certainly be putting a few personal touches to the car along the way and this inspirational build may be used as a reference.
Keep it up,

Hello all,
Having owned two Skodas previously (Mk1 Octavia vRS and a Mk3 Superb) I am very much looking forward to getting back in the vRS saddle a week on Saturday when I pick up a White Mk3 estate.
Look forward to heading back over topics to help me get the best out of the car over the coming years.
Speak soon
