  1. One trip to the garden centre ! Lockdown for the over 80s is a pain!!!!!! Still got my map update to install as well.
  2. Hi, Have you tried Myskoda app on your phone. You can get a service record direct if you can't get one from your service bloke. Btw I have located a VAG repair shop locally, does all VAG motors and has proper access to the service record system, using genuine parts etc. Will have a look when I am released from captivity!!!!
  3. Thanks for that Drewllis, that was what I suspected. Having come to the end of warranty I will use the specialist for this one! I will check around then for other options locally. Lockdown has hampered my mobility, being a 'vulnerable' eighty year old doesn't help either!
  4. Would you take the advice of your Skoda specialist then?
  5. Service ( the third) arranged with Skoda dealer. The car is low mileage and has hardly done 800 miles since its second service, due to lockdown etc., but will, presumably require a routine 'end of warranty' check and change of brake fluid. I am unlikely to put many miles on the clock in any event and a variable service is probably the appropriate setting tbh.
  6. Have a look at the manual!
  7. The car is just coming up to three years old so a three year warranty makes anything other than a Skoda dealer a no brainer tbh. I didn't realise that warranty ran for three years! The car has only done 19,000 miles anyway. Thanks for the info, due to my age and lockdown I haven't got around to seeing an official Skoda dealer yet!
  8. My car is approaching its 3 year service (Q 16). It is well out of its warranty period. What are the benefits of going to a Skoda centre for the annual service?. My previous Ford was adequately serviced by a well respected local service centre. How competitive are Skoda dealers for servicing generally?
  9. Having only bought my Superb 150 SEL after Christmas I have hardly used it. However I have noticed a few posts regarding softness in the suspension. I intend to tow a caravan and wonder if anyone doing likewise has fitted stiffer or adjustable shocks, particularly on the rear.
