Hi to be honest best way is the remove the glass but it's hard to do. What I did was there is 3 plastic clips behind the mirror that I broke with a screw driver but even at that still have to fight to get it off. Best If you can get the mirror orr

Thanks I already have the sportline spoiler fitted and the black lettering! Maxton splitter next and looking to lower it aswell

It's very expensive the sportline splitter looking at getting a maxton v1 or v2 splitter instead. Would love a 15mm drop aswell but don't want to void the warranty

Finally got my grille done. Ended up putting the orignal on and the bumper off job isn't so bad but really makes the car

Thanks guys I like both, I'm just stuck between is the top to plain or is the bottom to in your face? The car in question is race blue with black grille, mirrors and badge so the splitter will be gloss black! If anybody is good at photoshop switch the colour???

The mirror glass from a mk3 octavia does not fit the top end of the glass is to high.

So after a big fight with the car and one broken mirror glass I finally got the caps changed. There is more squeezing involved than pulling.

Hi has any body changed the mirror caps on a mk4 octavia? I've got the mirror glass out and moved the retaining clips but it just won't budge like the mk3 mirror caps. Is there another method for the mk4?

So to update this thread I got a full set of oem skoda vega style alloys of super skoda or kopacek as it's called now with 225/45/r18 tyres

Thanks I can get a swap for 18" Cadiz alloys but would they look good on a mk4 octavia? I haven't seen many mk4s with different alloys other than standard

I have the spacers I had them on the sportline didn't really want to put them on the octavia. Would 10mm spacers and 225/45/18 be a better option? I have the Geminis at home but would it be the same for the cadiz golf r alloys?

Thank you now I have 15mm and 20mm spacers I had on my sportline superb so I could use them. The tyres on the mk3 alloys are already 225/40/r18 didn't really want to change these will 3.4% make that huge of a difference?

Hi just to revive an old title, I have just ordered an octavia 150bhp diesel with dsg box not a vrs. My question is I will want to lower it 15mm not really looking to go more if i replace the springs with vrs springs will that work and give me the 15mm drop im looking?

Where did you get the black skoda badge superskoda? Was it expensive to wrap the grille? It looks really good

Hi just wondering has anybody replaced the standard chrome girlle surround with and sportline black one? Looking to change mine is it a bumper off job or can I do it without removing the bumper? Many thanks Aaron

Whats you bonnet like for stone chips? Mine seems bad enough so wondering is it worth polishing and coating it?
