  1. https://obdeleven.com/en/supported-vehicles?brand=skoda Looks like this will do the trick
  2. Looking in the menu, cant find the option to turn of traction control. Wheels wont turn in snow argh!
  3. I bought the Mrs a 6 month old VRS hatch in race blue rather than wait in the end. It arrived yesterday from the dealer.
  4. My other car has 650hp (although 4WD), a little more power never hurt 😀
  5. I imagine with intake, turbo back exhaust sans OPF, there's an easy 350hp in there!
  6. Shame its the devils fuel or I would make you an offer!
  7. Yeah so, we are just going to try and find a lightly used vehicle this time around 😅
  8. Last two cars have been Quattro and X-drive, as a result I would be a bit of a liability in high powered RWD now due to lack of practice. I find the front diff in the wifes Skoda to be pretty decent. It tucks the nose back in and doesn't wash out wide under throttle like many FWD cars.
  9. I never had the balls to go traction off in the wet in my old M240i. Open Diff was a bit snappy and unpredictable for me, I span it once on a cold misty morning (came to a safe stop on grass thank god) due to lack of drifting skills 😅
  10. Dealer emailed me to say I would get a car in 5 months now. Still not sure I believe him with the anecdotes on these forums...
  11. We are looking at a new Petrol VRS to replace the wifes current 4 year old model. 1st choice was a 1.4 hybrid plug in but that's not happening any time soon due to various well publicised issues. So the question is: how long would we be waiting for the 2.0 petrol DSG with no options? Searching the 150+ page delivery thread shows a lottery of different answers. Dealers are saying anywhere between 4 - 7 months? I guess i'm looking for another data point to help understand the real picture. Many thanks!
  12. This thread correlates with what dealers are saying i.e. Don't even bother ordering as nothing has been delivered from 2021 yet. Cancelations and 2nd hand cars only. Esp Plug ins which are on stop notice now anyway.
  13. I would not advise setting the cold pressure above 40. Once they tyre is hot it will be running close to the max pressure. One big pot hole could blow it out spectacularly. Also you will wear a band out in the centre of the tyre and in the wet you will be skating. I run 38 pound fr and 35 re on the wifes VRS. Its a good pressure for economy and comfort balance.
