  1. Many thanks. I can't say I fully understand but 'tis nowt to bother about.
  2. Being a technical numpty, could any of you kind folk educate me as to the meaning of the red globe and white key symbol? I have looked in the manual but it may as well be written in Mandarin Chinese as far as I am concerned.
  3. 2020 Karoq 1.5 TSI SEL manual. I switched on the ignition this morning to be greeted with "ACC Error" . Started the engine and there was no response when the ACC main switch was operated. Switched off the ignition and restarted several times with the same result. I then drove twenty miles to my destination without the aid of ACC. Parked up but had to move to another parking bay after only a few minutes and all was fine and dandy and still is after returning home. Anyone else experienced this?
  4. Thank you Skomaz you hit the nail on the head. The part number stamped on the bracket confirms your suggestion. The odd thing is that I do have these rails, both of which are firmly fixed and work correctly. Perhaps they were left in the boot on a Friday night for fitting on the Monday morning and the fitter went sick
  5. A test for all you Karoq owners: What are these components? I found them loose in the spare wheel well when I took out the space saver to check the pressure.
  6. Thank you for your erudite comment.
  7. I have just had my 2020 Karoq 1.5TSI SE-L into the main dealer for its first service. On return the invoice stated that it had received 0w 30 fully synthetic oil. I queried this with the dealer who said that very recently Skoda had recommended 0w 30 in place of the previously specced 5w 30 for cars on fixed service intervals. I'm fine by that but has anyone else heard similar?
  8. Doh! ... Yes of course it is. It must be the heat, now where did I put my brain? Thanks.
  9. The photograph is of the rhs of the high level brake light on my 1.5SEL Karoq. Any idea what is or what it is for?
  10. Ah yes, sorry I missed that post. Seems the most likely scenario to me as I really can't believe Skoda's factory QC is that poor.
  11. I am wondering if the car has been damaged and repaired prior to delivery. Maybe an enquiry at the dealer is in order.

Try a check on the .gov.uk web site. It may give more info. https://www.check-mot.service.gov.uk/

My Karoq is a 69 plate 1.5 SEL but my front badge measures exactly 109mm.
