  1. How did you link the cause to the faulty battery? I was thinkering with it for about 20 mins while waiting for the tow truck with multiple restarts, lock ups, restarts etc, with no effect (it was also refusing to lock since it wasn't in P, had to lock it through the open window using the dash button).
  2. Hi, I drive a 2023 Octavia 1.5 TSI MHEV, DSG, 22000km. Yesterday, after opening the door I was welcomed by a beeping noise and an orange "Risk of rolling away. P unavailable. Please apply parking brake" message on the dash. Car started up normaly. Put it in D. Automaticly switched back to N and the message switched to red one "Gearbox faulty. Pull asside safely." After that refused to go in to D or P. The messages on the dash switching between the orange and the red one. Towed the car to the service center. Ofcourse it turns on normally with no issues and no error history. According to them, there is nothing they can do. Experiences and suggestions? Cheers. Attached is the orange error, didn't photo the red one.
  3. Not sure how well it works on old accidents but a great hack a fellow car detailer told me.... Keep a bag of baking soda and a bottle od water in the boot. ASAP, clear away the large chunks as best as you can. Mix a runny paste of baking soda and water and apply liberally on the vomited areas (seats, belts, child seats, everything). Baking soda will kill the bacteria in the vomit resposible for the smell and it will stop it from spreading around the entire car. It will leave white stains but they can easily be removed by dry cleaning (along with the vomit stains). I had the unfortunate pleasure of using this hack a couple of times and i swear by it.
  4. Would still like to have some protection (maybe I should have tought about that before making kids ;-) )..all the ones I found localy are either too short or the top straps are designed for the classic seats and can't be fitted on a sport seat...
  5. Hi, I have a 2023 Octavia Style with sport seats. Looking for a rear side protection for the front seats to save them from kids kicking. Any tried and tested options to recomend? Thanks.
