  1. Its really awesome to read that you are that busy with it. Good job mate.
  2. Almost all the headrests from the VAG concern are fittable I think. I once fitted Golf mk IV headrests in a Seat Arosa, so I think it will be doable to find a golf headrest which is adjustable (make it more flat) and put it on your Fabia seat.
  3. Yeah, genuinely like them. Have also the TT comps since nothing else fits really. Really like the looks of it and they really slow you down good, no fading since the replacement. I've got Brembo disks and pads, give a oem pedal feel. After I changed the rear drums to disks, I need to change the settings of the abs pump. Did you already did that?
  4. That's true, it's always about the money. But in my opinion the disk brakes always be better than drums. That is logic. The way the abs and booster divides the brake power between the front and rear is very front biased of course but even though if you gain a 20% brake power win at the rear, it should be noticeable..
  5. Over here in the Netherlands they were swapped between several models, including dsg ones. But still doesn't answer the question why a lot of cars have disk brakes if they perform the same as a drum
  6. This is quite interesting.. Why is it though that the higher models do have disk brakes at the back? I've upgraded my front brakes to the 323mm 4pots and the standard Gigaro does NOT fit because of the shape of the inside from the spokes. There are a lot of wheels that doesn't fit...
  7. Thnx mate.
  8. Quite interesting @DieselMonte didn't realize it because I've bought them second hand. Will check later on, thanks!
  9. Well damn. Is it the inner or outer part? Maybe look into other brands specified for fwd hot hatches.
  10. Some proper pics. Placed the oem roofbars which look fun imo.
  11. Damn, those tires were shot. Did you also align the car again? Could help a bit so it would wear more evenly
  12. This is awesome. I'm really interested in the "dynamat it all!" idea to make it quiter and more comfortable.
  13. Getting the front bumper off is very sh*te to start with. After that, I dremeled the plastic glass cover on the edges in stead of prying open the glass so I avoid the chance to break the glass. After the cover is off, it's really simple to be honest, scuff the chrome inner piece and spraypaint it to black.
  14. Righty then. Blacked-out my headlights from the inside just like a Monte Carlo version. Placed all the LED's and the car looks way better imo. Thats it for now, rear axle will be done soon I hope...
  15. Bought a set of JE-design wheels (tuning yo!) but they don't fit with the Brembos upfront. Put them back for sale. Just slowly looking for another set, maybe I'll buy new Compomotives. In the meantime, I've bought all LED bulbs for all the exterior and interior lights. Will be placing them soon. Also, bought a rear axle from a Polo GTI with disk brakes. Will give it a nice paint (green offcourse) and install it later on. Do you guys have issues with wheel clearance in the guards? I'm scrubbing pretty bad in the rear to be fair.. Want to get that sorted but if I'm honest, my fitment isn't even that extreme? 7,5J ET32 17inch, 205/40/17.
  16. How does the deadening affect your ride? Is it noticeably quiter inside the cabinet? In my opinion the cabin gets filled with a lot of noice on the highway at around 60mph cruising speed. In my opinion, it is worth to upgrade to maxidot (2010 and newer) and climatronic, gives you a good luxurious feeling. Just my 2 cents
  17. I wasn't quite happy with how the car sat on her wheels and the rear coils were rusty. I bought new KW rear coils and installed them and adjusted the height as I like it Didn't washed it for more than a month so took the time to clean it last day. Also tinted my rear lights and fog/DRL lights. Quite happy with how it came out. Bought a VW Polo GTI rear axle with brake disks, so will install them asap
  18. Tyre wear is not the issue here, it seems to wear perfectly. I just want to fix the rubbing of the tyre/wheel on the outer arch of the right side.
  19. Thats true, left wheel is 5mm more to the inside. The right wheel pokes 5mm more out. The reason I want to get this fixed is because the right wheel rubs the arch a lot, and I mean A LOT! I'm on a KW V2 coilover set and at the rear maxed out. I know from the factory the rear axle is not centered but this is a bit too much in my opinion. Maybe other wheels then :(
  20. Exactly what I thought. Thanks xman!
  21. Looks very nice indeed! Keep it up.
  22. Since I couldn't find anything with the search function, I'm creating a new topic. Do you guys know if you can align the rear axle? My axle sits 5mm to the right and is not centered. If it is not fixable with an alignment, I know the axle is bend and will replace it with another one. Its about a MK2 Fabia 1.2TSI from 2010. Cheers guys.
  23. Good to know! Awesome build mate
  24. Nice, please let know how it feels. I'm quite curious how it rides.
  25. that really is awesome. Will sort out which diameter arb I have and place an order since it really needs to be done. Cheers
