  3. Hi All My latest gadget arrived from China Best £3.50 spent on car so far XD
  4. 3. You can go for a engine and gearbox remap. Great improvement - especially for gearbox.
  5. @G2EO No problem. Keep yourself busy over xmas
  6. 19 - can gateway Long adaptation - 0A drop menu - fatiguedetection/rest assist channel 13 you need to put: C820C8 - but you can't type it i. You need to copy that from somewhere else - ctrl+C, ctrl+V. Save temperature should change from -50C to 50.
  7. You should be happy is not working. I turn mine off with vcds right after purchase.
  8. All there - like in superb loom. I will put some pics tommorow.
  9. All plugs, terminals etc. are the same in Polo and Skoda loom. you just need to extend 2x2.5mm power cables. One to fuse board and one drom trailer plug to the module box. Like I said - I paid 10quid for brand new loom with module, so it would be rude not to try it
  10. I've fitted loom from VW POLO to superb estate - no problem - long enough.
  11. Won't fit, but I've seen somewhere that loom from earlier Octavia model will fit and from Yeti.
  12. Is that continental version or UK? Apparently they are diffrent.
  13. Don't you have speed warning option?
  14. I've bought a genuine loom from VW Polo for £10 - (£50on ebay) add to 2 wires and job done. It won't p&p with universal kit. Even with dedicated kit you need to some wires swapping etc.
  15. Check faults with diagnostic tool/laptop - you may get a clue.
  16. How to: Take off both wipers. Spray some wd40/oil penetrator and wiggle them of the shaft. Remove both cowl trims. Start from the middle and pull them off gently. It's only "push fit" type fitting. You can use narrow nose pliers to make job easier. Unscrew 2 torx bolts (t30 I think) Remove metal "wall" Remove plastic trims REmove 6x 13mm suspension bolts. Do that in stages, not in one go. Install strut brace - use same screws. They are long enough. You will have to cut one trim (if you want. You can just leave hole). Other side can be left without plastic. Metal "firewall" may need cutting if you really fussy. Mine is not cut, you just have to persuade it to fit Put everything back together. Most annoying job is to remove wiper arms and cowl trim. Cheers.
  17. Probably it's faulty ABS sensor. 15min job to get it swap. Read fault codes and let us know.
  18. Hi Sorry for delay, but I've stabed myself into hand with one of my knifes, so I was out of order for 2 weeks. Few pics for how to: Take off both wipers. 19. It's custom made. I will get some pics and "how to" on weekend.
  20. I've fitted upper strut brace to my Skoda Superb II. Handling is much better. Car is much nicer and "easier" to drive. Ideally could do with some lowering springs, but I won't be able to get to my work without loosing oil sump
  21. All sorted now - thanks
  22. Hello Can you tell me how much and what oil I need for manual gearbox 2.0tdi 170bhp? I know there is no gearbox oil plug to drain it, so do I have to take cover off and put new oil through reverse sensor on gearbox? Cheers.
