  1. Does anyone know if it's possible to swap out the headlight units from a 2022 (facelifted) SportLine Karoq to a SeL ? When I got my SeL the deal was really good and not having the Matrix headlights wasn't a biggie, but due to doing more EU driving now, that option would be hugely beneficial. I haven't considered any costs for the units etc, but thought I would ask the question first Thanks
  2. Hi FinFerNan, As you had opted for an aftermarket tow bar, can you provide some pics of the fitment and hole in the rear valance ? Cheers

So here's my dirty beast. Managed almost 100 miles from picking it up before a journey to Germany and the snow. Performed awesomely with temperatures down to -14.5c Just needs a good wash as a Christmas present
  4. Do you know if this is specific to the Octavia range ? I've got a Kamiq with an Amundsen 9" screen and the lack of wireless android auto is infuriating. Checking with dealership I've been told it's a hardware limitation, but never with any confidence. I get the impression nobody really knows
  5. Thanks for the responses guys, looks like I'll be making a purchase shortly
  6. Any fresh updates on this device guys? I've trawled through their website for compatible headunits but can't find the Skoda Amundsen unit in the 2020 Kamiq. Is this little device as good as it appears ?
  7. Where's your sense of adventure hahaha
  8. I think two button presses gets it disabled from the main menu. Sadly it reinstates when you restart the car, but I'm not in the habit of disengaging it regardless
  9. It's only a couple of button presses to switch off the LA so it's not a major problem and easy to do whilst on the move if you forget before setting off. I'm finding the start/stop to be just as much of a pain recently. Do you think it has a green light sensor so it switch off just as the traffic lights change meaning you have that second or two delay before you're able to pull away ? Another swift button press resolves this, but would prefer the defaults to be reversed
  10. All they need to do with LA is to simply reverse the default setting to 'OFF' If you want it active you would simply select it from the menu and hey presto, poltergeist assisted driving ! The same could be done with the stop/start. I regularly switch mine off due to it being unpredictable. Hopefully this will be an option in the near future with the 'clamidia' app or whatever its called ...
  11. Interesting theories LA1Eboy, any suggestions on the twin towers 911, or maybe who killed JFK ? haha I've always wondered if driving habits n data was being collated, but I was thinking from smartphones. As the Amundsen has an inbuilt sim, can expect this data to be used for something.
  12. I still suspect this may be a 'wtf' type moment when it happens ... must remember to take a photo if it puts me thru a hedge ...
  13. Oooh with a few weeks to go before collecting my Kamiq, I really can't wait to experience the thrill of an unprompted LA nudge ..... I didn't experience it all during my hour plus test drive, but the descriptions on the previous posts if sounds more like an irritating passenger grabbing the steering wheel ... I'm sure there'll be an awful lot of feedback collected by VW/Skoda etc about this feature and a possible software update may be something to look forward too
  14. I'm a soon to be Skoda Kamiq owner and had also noted how many were showing in Autotrader ... Mine is a pre-reg ex-demonstrator, 750 miles on it, 1.0 DSG SEL in Race Blue, Vega wheels, panoramic roof, leather interior n dynamic lighting, but I still feel I got a good deal. I just need to wait while I get my private plate switched over n get the new V5 for my current car so I can do the part ex n get my new toy. Looking forward to some happy comfortable motoring once the zombie apocalypse subsides
