  1. Sounds like what they've done is for £36 is just replace the bracket and then remount your old sensor. Done a basic settings reset and moved on. The full calibration takes a good 45 minutes to an hour to do. Indies charge around 130. Hortons charge 135. And everyone else charges 200+
  2. One of the easiest coding jobs you can do, check the tried and tested superb adaptions thread, its a sticky in the S3 forum.
  3. Thanks both.. I will stick to just LA then for now 😞
  4. So I have successfully managed to enable light assist on my car. But I just assumed it would be the one which orientates the beam to prevent dazzling (DLA) as opposed to simply turning them off (LA/DLA) Does anyone know if I need to have some special headlights for this function of is it pure coding?
  5. Just checked mine it's RLHS unfortunately 😞
  6. On a slightly different note, is it possible to get part numbers for any and all components in the car if you scan for them?
  7. What model year and variant is your car?
  8. I think the "F" in the RLFS stands for Feuchtigkeit which is basically German for humidity...
  9. @JR RSI see you too have Acc set to sport. Why is that ? Real test of ACC for me is how it comes to a hard stop. I always found eco breaking a little too late for my liking.. and never tried sport considering that everything in sport would be quick harsh movements. I like the breaking from the ACC to be as smooth as possible.. you've chosen sport does this perform better than the others?
  10. I'll do the switch and see if it makes a difference.. what the worse that can happen? my driving profiles which i hardly change switch over a bit quicker😘 I will try to set driving profile to "individual" and see if I can find a combination that fits me.
  11. I have been researching away trying to see if anyone has successfully got this feature on their Superb. Having recently been on the end of an open window with thunderstorm and my forgetful natures I was hopeful that this feature could be activated. I see this was possible in S2. Can anyone advise if they have managed to do this on S3 or similar platform cars?
  12. Oh dear.. are you saying its all placebo lol?
  13. I think that settles it. I will just change it to a linear profile. I think @Gizmo changed his to Audi without any side effects.
  14. @Bap33 I do have DCC side effects like what? Reversible I hope...I did a quick search and people mentioned not being able to switch profile for Dcc. No mention of if it's reversible . @Matchman55 I get that pedal box is the go-to option for most. I'd like to do it via coding first to get those marginal gains but even if I don't, I'm not that bothered to go buy a pedal box as it stands
  15. As I understand it there are 2 options that you can do via coding for throttle response tweak 1) Change engine profile to Audi from default (can break ACC) 2) Driving profile switchover to linear I wanted to understand what the difference between the two is? Has anyone done 1 or both..?
  16. Perhaps I'm mistaken.. I thought from 16(or 15) to 17my for tsr, it changed from byte 1 to byte 16 (according to gizmos's thread) I extended that 17my quality to all the other modules. None the less, I managed to get to the desired option it was just hidden away under another. On a separate note, that's a nice looking document your got there is that your own or is it available somewhere?
  17. Going to answer my own question now..I found it under Aussenlicht_Front I think vcds just allows you to search everything obdeleven only has the search functionality at the high level. Using nextgen obdeleven even said function not available had to quit and try again for it to work.
  18. So I think what I've worked out is that under adaptions, obdeleven have split it further in sub menus... Under which you'll find options to activate / deactivate. Just need to find the right one under adaptions to open up the menu that will contain it. ( I hope)
  19. It's funny because I just enabled traffic sign recognition and had to follow the 17my procedure and not the 16my one.. Anyone know what the long coding byte / bit is ?
  20. Hi, I'm trying to enable the menu option for daytime running light (useful to conserve energy when coding) When I go into Central electrics 09 click security access, enter code followed by adaptions I don't see the option: (2)-Daytime running lights-Tagfahrlicht Aktivierung durch BAP oder Bedienfolge moeglich I have L&K model from 2016 so assume I have the hardware, I have auto beam and rain sensor. What am I missing? I am using obdeleven
  21. Hi all, got a question on the TSR, I enabled it and initially it said no signs available but as soon as I got off my drive on to the road it showed 30mph instantly. I looked around and there were no signs. Does it just display what is stored in map data if it doesn't detect it on the road?
  22. Absolutely 100% possible it could have been damaged. At the very moment I had the accident I went inside to check, chucked on the ACC and it picked up the car in front. Eventually when I drove away it was intermittentently picking up the car in front followed by completely gone. I can only imagine it had dislocated in the first instance and some more driving dropped it completely, picking up nothing but the bumper itself. Now imagine a broken bracket going at high speed, the force and just aging of the plastic it eventually gives so it suddenly drops.. which would result in the the message ACC unavailable or even the radar impaired.
  23. I know i was just making a point of how many functions do you realistically use. Even with the camera I only look at it if there is a view that is obstructed from a parked vehicle or something so that's why the wide angle lens is brilliant. Fish eye? I don't have any fish eye problems on mine..
  24. I opted for the easier option of plug and play, however the aidu one has the added benefit of all the bells and whistles of parking overlays etc. Nobody really uses it but its nice when it is shown on screen. Same really goes for dynamic guidelines they are nice to see but if they weren't there how much would you really miss them?
