  1. This definitely sounds like a connection issue. The glovebox isn't too bad if you wiggle it from once disconnecting the dampener (and extend and snap back into place with a large screwdriver etc). Once you have a reversing camera there is no going back!
  2. Hi, that's right - the unit in the glove box. It can be a bit fiddly due to access but you'll do it. Glad this guide is still useful after all this time!
  3. That's fantastic! Pleased to help - you got this 👍
  4. I had the clutch master cyclinder replaced under approved used warranty last year. It's a common problem.
  5. No disassembly, just greasing the bushes from underneath. My car went to the dealers 3 times under warranty to fix the creaking before they figured out this was all was needed!
  6. I had the same thing a while ago. Ask them to grease the front wishbones and it should be fine. It's actually fairly common across many VAG platforms
  7. Hi, if you're using the Camera kit that I've mentioned (or a similar one) then the only real wiring is the piggyback harness that provides a feed for the camera in to the back of the media unit. The camera cable is a single cable that you have to feed through to the piggyback adapter. No coding should be needed
  8. But let's not forget the majority of EVs are being used as company cars due the the low BIK. You can get an Enyaq VRS, etron sportback or a Tesla all in for circa £130 pm. It is cheaper to do that than buy something older & out of warranty and you've still got your money to invest
  9. Downside is you'll confuse the hell out of the techs when your car goes into a dealer for servicing!😂
  10. Funnily enough I've been thinking of this and am considering a Revo remap. They have quite a lot of authorised dealers who do this, was considering using Midland VW.
  11. I'm on 235s with no issues either & same tyre pressure as well (Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5s). 235 opens up more range of tyres and at a better price. Worth noting that some garages will only fit 4 tyres if changing width and not 2. I needed 4 so not an issue.
  12. A curtain rod or some cable pulls and a bit of patience and you'll be ok. With the headlining pulled down very slightly, I could see the whole for the grommet and was able to line it up
  13. I'd say this is a pretty difficult one to diagnose as you don't know the state of the camera or other wiring. Might be easier to buy a new kit from aliexpress. Also - please update your title to something more meaningful!
