  1. Sorry for being a pain I’ve just checked over my connections again and one of them was not making a connection rectified it and now it’s switching with the ignition, should the map dim when you put the lights on seems to make sense. Thanks for the help appreciate it. Regards Danny
  2. Well I’ve checked my original plug and there is no feed to either of the + listed on my new head unit so it would make no difference if I did move it, should I put a switched live to the one I have marked as 30. Take it from the fuse board ? This is a picture off my old radio
  3. Hi again it appears to work but is not switching with the ignition so I am assuming I should move 30 up to the next + so it will be opposite the negative ?
  4. I think I’ve sorted it but just to make sure can you check I’m right in the photo I’ve marked where I think they should go, to the head unit. Regards

Hi I have the items to do this adaption however the 40- pin version on eBay was no longer available so I purchased another fully wired one off eBay now I’ve come to do the job and noticed my wire colours are different is there any of working off say the socket that will end up in the radio to work out which colours I use I’ll try and add a picture of my unit. Regards

  7. What I don’t understand about this relay set up is that a relay is a set of either N/O or N/C contacts and a control relay, so my question is why does it cost so much for this item 83.53 euros. Has anyone check one to see what the relay setup is ?

  9. Does anyone have a Amundsen+ operation manual they do nor require anymore I am after one, I now you can get a copy downloaded but I prefer a book.

  12. This is what I sent. Hi im trying to fit a CANBUS 2.0 headunit the skoda Amundsen+ in a 2007 mk2 Fabia 1.4 TDI which i believe is CANBUS 1.6 Is it possible i need an adapter which needs to be wired between the car and the headunit allowing them to talk to each other. Does this unit do that or do you have one that does. Regards Danny

  18. Hi I think I'm losing the plot fitting a Amundsen+ can anyone tell me on the phone function does the Amundsen have a built in mic as i can make a call but they can't hear me ?

Hi I’ve not long purchased a 2007 Fabia1.4 TDI and with a view to improve the radio I’ve purchased a SkodaAuto Amundsen+ The photo is my present wiring, I have already tried a parrot ck3100 for which I had to buy an adapter. My problems are 1. will I be able to use the adapter if one is needed and 2. Do I need an adapter for my aerial which is a single socket type the one on the Amundsen is a double ? Regards Danny
  23. Hi I have the same problem on a 2007 Mk2 1.4 TDI I have just brought 110,000 miles, and I used a car stethoscope but I have no clicking anything else I can check. I do get the short and then longer tone and the radio does show up for a short while when I first engage reverse 🙁
  24. Sent a photo of the radio plug to Dynamicsounds also telling them the car and the parrot model I have the adaptor arriving tomorrow £8.95, so all I have to do now is work out the best place to mount everything. Many thanks UrbanPanzer

Help needed I recently purchased my Skoda Fabia 2007 1.4 TDI great car but my old car had a parrot fitted so I went out and purchase a used Parrot CK3100 LCD can anyone point me in the right direction, such as do I need to purchase a ISO adaptor or has anyone already done this on this forum. To many wires and not enough info any help would be gratefully received thanks.
