  1. if it thas expensive ill rather let it go for now :( as i investigated the speaker wiring,i have noticed that the rear speakers are missing..i tought that the minimal factory specification had to conain it but it seems not :( im planning to fit the rears, can you help me where is the factory wire routed?
  2. arent any emergency entry method to get in the car if the remote stops working? on replacement you mean i have to order a new cylinder from the dealer with my vin number? i bet it would be horribly expensive none of you managed to repair a cyclinder before?
  3. thanks i have problem with my door clyinder too.it has broken inside,it just turns 360 degrees :( as far as i checked it,its the newer version(2006 year car) so its the non rebuildable version.i have managed to drill the pins out,it has been disassebled but the broken part inside is different than the other version from the rebuild kits.. do you have any solution for this? IF not,my other idea is to replace the cylinder to a blank plate like this on the picture since im using the remote to open it anyways but in that case, what is the way to get in the car if the remote dies?
  4. i do.i can check tomorrow.it should be 4 ohm,right?
  5. i dont see any corrosion on it
  6. actually it was my mothers car.she only ever used it rarely for radio stations and strictly only at moderate volumes.she didnt even noticed it was anything wrong now i inherited the car, changed the stereo and tried it with proper music, then noticed the problem the cone seems intact.it does not have cracking-popping sounds, its just way less loud and its muffled and flat.like if a 2 way speaker lose the mid/low coil but its a single coil full spectrum speaker so i dont get it whats the damage
  7. i have another problem i just managed to poke out the old stereo (10 min struggle) then noticed that somethings wrong with my front left speaker it does kind of work but its waay more silent and muffled too does that a common failure?
  8. hi.thanks.can you send picture from the whole unit?
  9. i tried but could not find any tool for this specific model.and by just search for blaupunkt there is at leaset 3-4 different looking removal tools
  10. one more thing: i dont want to open a new tread just for that: do you know how to remove the blaupunkt cd35 car stereo unit? that was the original one from factory in my fabia but i cant find the tools for it
  11. so probably any aftermarket vag cable will work with the lite version?
  12. i have checked every door ant it semms the front passenger door switch is bad :( at least its not the convinience modul.. about the vcds:i have checked it online and the genuine starts from 200usd :( does the aftermarket ones are any good?what is your experiences with it? thanks
  13. thanks, ill give it a try i dont have vcds
  14. i see.so the switch in the door closed when the door is open,ok of course there is not a direct connection between the switch and the interior lights, theres this j519 untit between, thats clear the question is how to check if every doors switch is working correctly? does disconnecting the connector at the door bellow can be a way to check it? or do i have to check the brown/yellow wire (without disconnecting the connector) to ground at the door bellow with opened door?
  15. thanks.first of all i would like to check all door switch before moving to the relay in the convinience module as far as i see,the lowest switches on the diagram(door switches) connects the brown ground wire to the j519 unit by the brown/yellow wires.right? sooo im a bit confused here since lee told that the switches in the door are open when the door is closed.can you confirm this? so if thats true, the j519 unit only turn on the interior lights when one of the doors open-so one of the switch closed,so it gets the ground via the door switch? that way i can check every door by disconnecting the wires at the door bellow? will it work? i think theres one connector with multiple wires together in the bellow so disconnecting all may affect other things too
  16. i know where the switch is phisically what i need to know is which switch is it on the wiring diagram (the lock module seems to have 4 more internal switches too) and the diagram wont tell which is which if i know which is the door switch from the 5 on the diagram, that way i can trace it back by the wire color then i can measure it at the door bellow plugs without the need to take apart 3 doors
  17. im checking the diagram you have sent and my guess is that i have to measure somehow the other three doors door switch first before i suspect a fault in the convinience modul.hopefully just one of the door switches are worn so that keeps the lights on now my problem is that on the diagram the door lock units has five switches inside but the diagram wont tell which is which do you have any idea?
  18. umm.i think the door switch has to be pushed in (closed) when the door is closed, that way the lights turn off now if i disconnect the plugs i just open the circuit so thats the opposite of what i want
  19. thanks.hopefully wino shows up and tells the answer by the way im wondering what if the front passenger side door micro switch is bad?it can cause the lights to stay on too, right? but how to test it? at the drivers side its easy with the headlight switch or by the sound of the fuel pump but what about the other doors? also does the 2 rear side doors have to switch the interior lights or just the front doors? (my car just have front interior lights,no rear)
  20. thanks for the diagram.mine is a bme 1.2l engine but the diagram seems identical.as far as i get it by the diagram the number 10 unit (electrical system control unit) must be the one youre talking about as convinience unit if i get it right that unit must disconnect ground to the interior lights when the door closed to proceed further i need a diagram from the internals of that unit to determine where is the fault.do you have this too?
  21. thanks.what and where is that unit?also do you have wiring diagram too? and one more thing:if i left the lights on and open just the front passenger side door, does it have to beep?or just with the drivers side door?
  22. hi guys.i have a problem with my interior lights.when the switch is in the position when the doors supposed to turn it on and off,it stays on with closed doors im a bit confused since i could not find any switch which the door press when i close it ,like on other cars.does it operated by the micro switch inside the central lock mechanism in the door ? by the way when i open the drivers side door im hearing the fuel pump kicks in and also when the headlights turned on,it beeps when i open the drivers side door so the switch must be good what am i missing here? thanks
  23. im using motul 8100 xcess 5w-40 at every 10k km
  24. thanks.let me know the results.i know its a big job but if it fails it kills the engine.theres no rattling noise or anything suspicious from the engine so i guess im fine until 250k km if yours still holds up at 280k
