New VRS collected with a few questions dealer have been unable to answer as yet
Hi 👋 Any joy with the sound actuator? Having no joy finding it...watching a YouTube vid earlier of the 245ps Octavia VRS DSG (crospotter13) and it makes a fantastic noise in the cabin... How to activate the "fake" sound 🤔

Software updates
Yes succesfully did a software update a few days ago and it came up with a message around adaptive lights activated.. As far as I am aware the system will tell you when a software update is available much like your mobile phone

Yeah will do that... I have the AutoGlym Tar remover which should hopefully also do the job of getting rid of any glue residue

Black exhaust tips sounds like a great idea! The estate is brilliant...I took a white Vrs estate out for my test drive and covered one junction on the M6...slowed the car right down to 40 to see what the mid range was like but weirdly not one car behind me overtook me...took me a while to figure out why...must have thought it was an unmarked cop car..lol ! Only reason I didn't go for the estate is that the Mrs has a SUV 4x4 so dont need the additional boot capacity...

I was thinking of doing that but had a bad experience when I asked this to be done on my previous car by Merc dealership...muppets must have used a screwdriver covered with a towel to prize the badges off which left little paint chips around that area! 😡 Must Google how to properly do this as I think it will make the rear of the car look cleaner...

Yh awesome colour that really contrasts with the black grill/wing mirrors/honeycomb lower grill/ and "fake" rear air vents 👍 Oh and the rear spoiler...which I think looks great!

Yh..my 1st choice was the Meteor Grey but would have been waiting till April for it to be built plus wouldn't have the heated steering wheel which is awesome in this cold weather... So what was your 1st choice of colour?

Ahh...understood ! Don't believe there is a way to permanently disable these unfortunately... No mine doesn't have the DCC, however the ride comfort I find is still good after being in previous 2 cars with run flats... Did yours come with the heated steering wheel as standard? Apparently this is now part of the "comfort pack" which is a £600 option which also includes heated widscreen and heated washer nozzles... It's a very well specced car bar reverse camera..

Octavia VRS 245
Interesting point...is your Octavia DSG or Manual? Guess its personal preference, but I found the manual vRS 230 way more fun than the ATR ...and more fun than the DSG vRS! But the honours for pure pleasure and grins for previous cars has to go to the Megane R26...superb driving machine but awful interior & possesed electrics!!

Octavia VRS 245
Interesting as I also had an Accord Type R a few years ago...great when you drove it like you stole it but the rest of the time it was a pain & the lack of torque was enough to put me off and get rid My current Civic Type S 160bhp is a much better all rounder! And then the 245 VRS is way better than both...
