Water ingress into wheel well
Above advice is logical. I have looked at schematic of rear bumper assembly to identify the various components. Water rounds down side of tailgate and then drops behind bumper. Below bumper is the cross member located behind the crash bar. I cannot see any water flow when I am under car but it again seeped through sealant on inside as per my photos. I cannot reach outside area to check for poor sealant so have applied a silicone bead inside and will monitor. If sealant has failed on outside I wonder why but I cannot see a big risk in only resealing the inside. Thanks for input.

Water ingress into wheel well
I have posted on this topic before but have now identified where water is leaking in. Three images are of the right hand corner of underfloor cavity. Water is coming from behind sealant bead on vertical edge. Tonight after about 1 hr of light rain water has accumulated and can be seen in photo. I visited my dealer yesterday but they had no answer as to the source suggesting I keep investigating. I want to know what is behind this panel? Looking underneath bumper I cannot see any thing that might be a cavity nor workout where water can come from to penetrate the sealant. I could add more sealant but clearly that doesn't address the core issue. Is there anyone who can give me an insight into the body structure on the offside rear please.

Water ingress in spare wheel well (Estate)
Did you make any progress?

Water in boot
I have made little progress. Dealer reviewed towbar fitting and confirmed everything in place and done correctly. They had no suggestions for source of leak. I have monitored and water continues to accumulate. Today I looked again and after I had cleared pooled water I noticed a seepage from the right-hand corner of the boot area (estate). There is sealant there across the rear edge. It is as if there is a stored source of water behind the sealant. As far as I can tell behind the rear bumper is the main body of the car, does anyone know what the structure is and if there is a potential route for water. When I bought the car nearly 12 months ago some damage to the left side of the bumper was repaired. Either the car was reversed into something or the car was hit from behind, damage was more cosmetic but I am wondering if there was more to it. Any further thoughts welcome.

Water in boot
I took both rear light clustres off, seals are ok but I did not put any silicone on when refitted. I applied talc powder in wheel well and surround to see where water might flow from. Checked this morning after rain for most of yesterday and again a reasonable accumulation. No disturbance to talc powder and all carpets etc bone dry. Still confused because there is no logic with water getting in, dry trim and, now, no disturbance to talc application. It is as if water somehow gets from outside to in the wheel well without touching anything between!!

Water in boot
I may be linking towbar fitting and problem because I only noticed water after tow bar was fitted. Car on drive, water accumulation from rain so I cannot see that tow bar and it's fitting is at fault. It's coming from somewhere so I will have acquire small child to be in tailgate area while I get hose/jet spray out.

Water in boot
I have the same issue . There is no evidence of dampness/wetness anywhere but water collects in wheel well. Have you any wetness anywhere? I had a tow bar fitted by the supplying Skoda dealer last year and they have checked the installation but found nothing amiss. Water has been accumulating this week after rainfall. I am really stumped as wheel well is below the polystyrene insert and boot floor all of which are bone dry.

Leak - Hopefully just sunroof hose
Great investigative effort which shows how difficult it is to trace source of leaks. I have an Estate and water is getting into the spare wheel well. All fabric trim is bone dry as are carpets. Car not used this week but has been on drive whilst a lot of rain has fallen. My dealer had car for service last week and they did a leak check as they fitted a tow bar last year and it seemed the fitting might have coincided with water ingress but there was nothing to report. I will spend time with hose this weekend trying to replicate issue but any ideas very welcome.

ULEZ compliance
I have a 2016 Superb Estate 190 4x4 Sportline . TfL website tells me that it is not ULEZ compliant but it is Euro 6 and should be ok. Has anyone had an incorrect designation for their car and challenged it?

Water/ice in compartments under boot floor
Thanks for responses. I will look closer at the weekend but am still puzzled by no dampness on any of the boot carpet. The dealer the car came from did fit a Skoda towbar in early October but the water in the wheel well insert is recent. The tow bar fitting may be the culprit as no water before fitting but only in last few weeks. I will contact the dealer after a few tests this weekend with the hose. Thanks again

Water/ice in compartments under boot floor
Rear wiper and wash all ok. Nothing is wet apart from 2" of water/ice in both polystyrene compartments. I cannot see how these can fill without somewhere else being wet.

Water/ice in compartments under boot floor
Good morning I have a 190 4x4 estate on a 66 plate. Opened tailgate and lifted boot floor to find both compartments at rear of polystyrene insert full of water/ice. Every where else is dry . Totally puzzled as to where so much water has come from. Any ideas at this early stage?

Towbar fitting
I have had my 190 4x4 for a couple of months. I wanted a towbar fitted but dealer couldn't get all parts before mid August. Scheduled for fitting on 9/10 but no mention of need to upgrade cooling although I have seen comments made elsewhere. I will not be towing much weight and only over short distances but it will be interesting to see what gets fitted.

Find me a Superb...
I recognise a lot in the thread matching my experience. I bought a 190 Sportline 4x4 estate a month ago. I looked for a while and really wanted a 280 TSI but difficult to find. The dealer I bought from found one elsewhere in the Marshall Group but it was sold from under me. No price concession but they did take £200 off towbar fitting but could not fit for three weeks. Took car to France day after buying, added 1250 miles so far so a good shakedown trip. I was offered a derisory part exchange value but sold for five times what was offered privately. My wife bought a Citigo at same time but even two sales wouldn't move dealer on price. Buying secondhand compromises choice and condition, maybe I was too picky wanting some cosmetic things sorted, answer buy new. Pleased so far but just annoyed I let a couple of 280's slip through my fingers.
