Useful E Mail addresses there Chris thanks for those. In the meantime my frustration got to such a point that I E mailed Customer Services in CZ with detail of our issues here in the UK and in particular my non replies. I have had three responses in two days...( How refreshing!!) and wanted details and copies of my correspondence and have been told it is being escalated to the next managerial level and ask me to be patient whilst it is looked into. Now we will have to see what happens but at least someone is talking to me!!!! I emphasised the point that it the big issue is not my personal replies in particular, but the whole dreadful Customer Service scenario in the UK, mine being just one example of many!!

MY21 Amundsen Map update procedure
To keep you all up to speed on my previous comments about the MY21 update position. I said i would let you all know about any feedback i got from Customer Services after i wrote a detailed letter ( about the poor MY21 update position, both in documentation and on line) I addressed my letter to the Head of Customer Services at Head Office about six or seven weeks ago. Guess what! I have not even had an acknowledgement, let alone any attempts at answering the questions. I also had sent an e mail to the info@ address for a fairly simple question for them to answer on another issue. Guess what, no answer to that either. I find this whole situation absolutely appalling and its a disgrace to call themselves Customer Service... because it is not!!!!! Here we have a product, in my case a KaroqSE Drive 1.5TSI, which i think is a superb car and " Customer Service" which if you asked me my opinion, is the worst in the world!!! Next question is what can we all do about it? I am far from being alone in similar thoughts on this issue. In the meantime please all take care and stay safe.

I have posted off my letter to head of customer services with my questions and comments about the MY21 update situation and i asked about the TQM as you mentioned. When i get the response( hopefully!) I will let the forum know any relevant information. In the meantime, as i am only one person writing, it would help if many of you out there did a similar complaint letter about the MY21 update situation and hopefully if we can bombard them with the issue they may actually realise there is an issue!! Thanks in advance to anyone writing to them. We have a crazy situation of owning an excellent car, and I mean that, it is my first Skoda and am delighted with its all round performance.....apart from Customer Service!! Regards to you all Eric

Merry Christmas!! Well i had similar thoughts, in my previous VW i had a "bolt on" Garmin NUVI which i thought was excellent and free lifetimes updates etc. When i got the Karoq i thought i would then put the Garmin on EBay as it wouldnt be needed??? I gave myself time to reflect on it...and glad i did! I am holding on to the Garmin for a while yet to see if anything is sorted out by Skoda on the MY21 sat navs. It may not be time yet to dump it!!!

Seasons greetings to you all firstly!! I am in the process of composing a detailed snail mail letter to the head of Customer Services ( I think it is someone called maxine jenning but will check for certain later) regarding the dreadful customer service and lack of information we all seem to be experiencing regarding, in particular around the MIB3 Sat nav. I would like to think that, if they were really on top of their job, then they would peruse the Briskoda Forums for issues that they should perhaps be taking a detailed interest in, but maybe i am being too optomistic!!! When i think about it, when i was looking round for a new car five months ago,( considering VW, Peugeot,Seat and Skoda,) I e-mailed customer service with a question about the Karoq and never got an answer, not a great start! I have another question outstanding as yet un answered! This is all such a shame as I am delighted with the car itself, cant say the same for Customer relations!!!! I intend to the send the letter after the holidays and when ( and If !!!) I get a reply, if there is anything meaningful in it, I will post the relevant info here inthe Forum. If any more of you can be bothered i dont think a deluge of letters to Customer Services would do any harm at all. Regards

I am surprised its not showing the coordinates because you happen to be outside your house,.......do you think it is showing your address in preference to the coordinates because it knows where you are from your database?

I have had a play around and yes there appears to be a way to see you coordinates of where you are. I was stationary in a car park and went to the navigation icon and get this (attached) picture screen up and you see at the bottom there are the coordinates. Make sure there is no route planned and you click on the symbol next to the bottom on the left hand side

Thanks for your reply. Do you know if somehow you have to initiate the on line data connection? Also presumably it’s the USB -C connection by the gearstick and 12v power socket? I have the file downloaded but no further than that! Regards Eric- MY21 Amundsen Map update procedure
Hi, Has anyone done an update for the above. The portal for my VIN number is showing an update available but i cant find a procedure for the MY21. My dealer had previously told me that there is no SD card on the latest Sat nav?? So I am a bit stuck at the moment. Thanks in advance- MY 21 Amundsen Infotainment system
Just a quick thought, if you are using the Skoda Connect app. you can go to the “Car Position” when it’s at home, open up Maps and the exact GPS coordinates are displayed at the bottom of the page. (I am still working on getting the coordinates from the Amundsen) Regards- MY 21 Amundsen Infotainment system

Hi, yes I had a lot of playing around until I sussed it out. The instructions do work but you must follow them exactly. Not only the comma but the space (and the minus or plus if needed!!!! as well! ) The example shows it exactly but I am sure you have got it ok now. I agree that GPS coordinates are by far the most accurate and I use them all the time Enjoy your Superb, I am loving my Karoq..first Skoda! Regards- MY 21 Amundsen Infotainment system
Hi, I agree the search box doe snt appear at first to accept the coordinates but if you type in the coordinates ( you might need to press on the Hash key to get up the numeric keys) as i described, then it should be ok. I didnt have any issue at all with the numbers of decimal places, in fact i did a new one for a place I hadnt been to before only yesterday and all was OK. It is important to do the comma space business I described in the original post. - MY21 Amundsen Map update procedure
