Colour Schemes for MY21 Amundsen Sat Nav?
Hi, Unfortunately, it would appear, that this MY21 Amundsen is different and the colour of the route doesnt change when i select different routes. It stays as this green edged road which is not outstanding. thanks for trying! Regards

Colour Schemes for MY21 Amundsen Sat Nav?
Hi, Thanks in advance for any help. I am finding the display of the Route planned on this sat nav not as pronounced as it could be. When you look at the road you are planned to go on it comes up as a greenish colour and it is not very easy to see. Is it possible to change that colour to say a deep red or purple as an example so it stands out more on the map. I think it is safer when glancing at the map whilst driving if it is more pronounced. Does anyone know how to change this, if indeed it is possible? Thanks Eric

MY 21 Amundsen Infotainment system
Some while ago I was asking about entering favourites in GPS coordinates into the new Sat nav as the instructions dont appear to cover it. After some trial and error I have got a procedure that works for me and in case it is useful to anyone I will outline it below:- Ignition on/ Press top right Nav button/Navigation/Magnifying and Marker symbol/ Search Box/ Enter Latitude Number-then comma-then space, then Longitude number. If it East then no symbol is nescessary, but if it is West then a minus symbol is required before the Longitude number. Examples of coordinates which are always required in decimal form:- (I obtain them from Google Street with option set for decimal degrees). 51.12345, 1.56789 this is for an east location 52.98765, -1.54321 this is for a West location Then click on the result that appears in the box below Then click "More" Then click on yellow star and save as your named choice When I refer to East and West, it is from the Greenwich meridian which of course is Zero longitude. Hope that helps someone. The reason I use GPS coordinates a lot is because some times the address is not straight forward and not found, maybe out in a remote part of the country, postcodes arent always accurate enough. See what you think.

MY 21 - infotainment
Now I have the correct up to date manual all seems ok apologies to Skoda !!! unlike the old system I can’t find a dedicated screen to allow you to put in GPS coordinates for a destination or favourites, HOWEVER, after a lot of playing about (and it works) I have worked out the correct format now for the figures to be entered in the Search bar so I am a happy man. Thanks to all involved

MY 21 - infotainment
Hope you got the polish on and had a good play around!! Having got the correct manual now I am ok with the new infotainment system. Did notice that on the old system you had a proper page to enter GPS favourites which is not on the new one. Having said that after a lot of playing about I have worked out the correct format for the coordinates to be entered into the “Search” window and it works!! Regards

MY 21 - infotainment
Hi, Thanks for your link. I had downloaded a manual that was specific to the Amundsen sat Nav, but that appears to not line up with my MY21 car. So i will download the one you kindly sent the link for and see how that lines up. As far as you know does that indeed apply to the new MY21 Infotainment system ? Thanks to you all for your assistance Regards

MY 21 - infotainment
Looks superb shouldn’t worry about MY20, at least your manual covers what you have actually got in the car. I am struggling my way around the MY 21 Infotainment system for which ,at the moment, there is no up to date manual. Poor show Skoda, when you produce a lovely car!! Not giving us the documentation to use all the numerous facilities Enjoy and polish tomorrow if there is no rain where you are!! Eric

MY 21 - infotainment
Thanks for your reply, I am a bit green on all this but as far as I know I have the very latest infotainment system as my car is definitely MY21. it is Karoq SE Drive. Yes it has USB C sockets and the new steering wheel. I will certainly pursue this more tomorrow but struggling so far. One thing I can say that I have the 2020/07 manual downloaded and it contradicts what I am seeing at times??? will try your idea of touching the screen to add POIs tomorrow Thanks a lot Eric

MY 21 - infotainment
Hi, Just for your information, mine was through Motorline, Gillingham, Kent and they told me in the first week of August that mine had just been built and was awaiting shipment process. So mine was built as MY21 then, so I would have thought yours should be MY21? in fact at the end of July we had a test drive with them and we saw MY 21 cars being unloaded at the same dealer off the car transporter. Really should be MY21 but who knows what goes on behind the scenes!! Regards Eric

MY 21 - infotainment
Hello, Just collected my lovely new Karoq and trying to wade through all the infotainment settings particularly the navigation section. I am finding that having downloaded the above manual it is not ( as expected) conforming exactly with some of the screens i am getting up. This is obviously, as i see it , because i have the very lastest infotainment system as my car is MY21? There are two sticking points at the moment and I recognise it is early days!! How to set the clock to a 24hrs clock format and how to enter favourites that i have in GPS format, i.e.degrees and minutes. Please bear with me if i have missed something but I have tried to search and not been succesful...newbie speaking!!! Regardless of that Thanks in advance to everyone helping.

Importing Favourites
Thanks in advance for any help. I have been pointed to this forum as i was told the Kamiq is fitted with the latest updated Amundsen Sat Nav which is what i will be getting later this month in my new Karoq. My question is has anybody managed to import favourites from a Garmin sat nav, the files are in GPX file format. If anyone has I would really appreciate help on how to do it. Thanks Jelugs

Importing favourites?
Hi, Thanks in advance for any ideas. I have a Karoq coming soon and would like to be prepared for the Amundsen Sat Nav that will be in the car. Is it possible to import the favourites which are in GPX file format from my Garmin Nuvi 2699 sat Nav.? If it is possible the procedure would be great from anyone. Thanks Eric
