Ouch, sorry to hear of the delay. But with the latest rounds of lockdowns, I fear it was probably inevitable. I've had my Kamiq since early September, but only managed 1059 miles in that 4 month period. Due to lockdowns, so not had the pleasure to take it for a family "holiday" and all that entails. The one thing I love in this winter snap...is the heated front windscreen. To get back on topic.. you are getting the "SE edition, 1.0TSI 116PS DSG 7spd with no extra options added" The car is imo fantastic, it does what it says on the tin. The view from the drivers position shows a raised bonnet, that gives it a feel of a larger SUV. (been in other similar sized SUV's and cant see bonnet) . Boot space was fine for my Labrador (took dog to showroom, just to check before i bought it). As others have mentioned, the DSG box is very nice and if i were you, use the S mode in urban, the D mode on open road. bit simplistic, but hey! The screen you will have will be different to mine. But ensure you get the dealer to walk through it in depth when you collect your car. Its a whole new generation of crapp ass computing "what the hell" type of driving. And on that note just mention that you should try and find as many youtube videos of the car you want to buy.

i have the 1.5 dsg,,,however due to the constant lockdowns. I have had it over 3 months and only done 859 miles. Therefore i don't think my recommendation should count for a lot. However ! it's ****ing quite cool in SP mode and delivers about 46mpg in urban . DS as mentioned above always tries to go into highest gear...not very exciting...(but frugal) ... BUT as a certain fat tory times correspondent plays in a series called the world tour and has so far upset all known life forms ( personally i love the show) ....anyway where was i ..... OH YEA ..... POWER (albeit a little bit more)

ayrshiredude ... did you happen to buy your kamiq via ingram's in Ayr? I only ask because i have family there. I went to there showroom in august...Really nice people.

Ayrshiredude ... I bought a SEL in September,the boot torch was (very bright) , I actually just wen't out and opened my boot to check. The usb c adapter cable, as mentioned above, is a dealer option. You could buy this as an option.

Thanks for all the "mainly" positive answers folks :) PS the wheels / tyre's fitted came with the car from new...not an optional extra etc.

Hi, when i bought my Kamiq in Spetember, I purchased the optional spare wheel set. I, may have naively, assumed that the spare would be the same size as the ones currently fitted. However my tyre sizes are 215/45R/18 but the spare tyre is 195/60R/16 (both are by Good Year) So my rather obvious question is, is this acceptable, or an error by the dealer? thanks in advance

skoda 1982, Apple car play is connecting. I can access all the options in my phone. Including as you mentioned above siri. on a side note, i assume "lura" is Skoda's siri? I think perhaps because there isn't a hard drive in the kamiq? working a lot, these days and tired (NHS) , so I'll investigate further soon. Just a final note...why can't this "S***" be a bit easier

Sorry for delaying in replying Skoda 1982, thanks for the initial reply, i'm beginning to think you may be right. zoharin, again thanks for responding to my query, i checked and my BT settings using My Skoda **** showed sync contacts as being "switched on" .. it also had CarPlay as being "On" Bit lost now what to do. So its back to the drawing board.

I apologise in advance if this has been asked before...did a search & couldn't see any relevant posts. I have an I phone xr, and i would like to sync phone contacts with the car. But for some reason, when i click on the option in the admunsen (sp?) screen it doesn't do it. I have tried bluetooth and usb. I've missed something very obvious i know. But would anyone be willing to tell me what to do? thanks in advance

I have just driven my new (owned it for 2 weeks) Kamiq 1.5 tsi dsg, from mold (ne wales...in case you were wondering,,,its an actual place), to Prestattyn and back ....got 52 mpg. goddamit, i'm a happy beaver ... this was my 1st proper run, with with wife and dog. All other runs had just been to work and back.. a trip of 1.8 miles (27.8 mpg)

Hello, Everyone... I've purchased my first ever Skoda last week, I have to say I have read some of the forums, and love the interaction I see within them. I'ts a Kamiq SEL 1.5 tsi dsg .....in white. Brave choice i think
