  1. sorted now... dealer guided me through it on the phone.
  2. I ask this question, because after a recent software update performed by my retailer. I had some settings i didn't want. When i tried to change them, it said me car (kamiq '70 sel) was not connected to the internet. I apologise for being 60 years old and not very tech proficient. Therefore could i politely ask .... WTF ? Thanks in advance folks
  3. I have booked my car in to Mitchell skoda chester on Monday 25 October to have the "Virtual cocckpit" area noise nullified. The integral plastic around it is VERY hard. On the harsh more rural roads i drive on...i hope to have a "squeeky" less experiience ps they are charging me a "not" minor cost to to do what "may not solve the problem"
  4. remember the toilet paper rush during 1st round of covid....people just react, with a carnal sense of self preservation
  5. i took my car in for it's 1st service a couple of weeks ago.. 5 days befoe the 12 month warranty expired. I told them of a rattling from the area of the virtual cockpit. they told me that "rattles and creaks etc" where only covered for the first six months. They could look at it, at a cost of £130 basic

i recieived this response from my dealer Yes I have spoken to the workshop and they have advised if your phone has recently had a software update, you need to delete the phone from the car and the car from the phone and completely re-pair and this should resolve the issue you are having
  10. Hi Folks, Thanks for the replies. Just clocked 5000 miles. This includes a recent 2 week holiday to Scotland. I will try the Scotchbrite & Tar/glue remover options in next day or so. Will post once i've done this when next rainfall while driving happens. cheers
  11. Hi, lately i have noticed my windscreen wipers are very "juddery" if that's a word? When it's raining they go up ok....but coming down they "Judder" ie not smooth, kind of bounce about. I've tried cleaning the blades, and even wiped the while windscreen. but its still happening.

may be a dumb question,,,But S-Pin keeps coming saying it's not protected. I have inputted the correct 4 digits each time and clicked on the "save" button. Any ideas?
  13. Deflectors arrived on time. I had to watch 4 Youtube videos before i figured out how to install them. They come with clips, and each clip has a smooth side and one side with a small "spike" . Had to figure out which side to push in. But after finding the right video (smooth side on outside). Took just a few mins and am happy with the look PS total cost was £38.00 (aprox)
  14. I have taken Zoharin's advice...bought heko via ebay ...due date 7 July Will post outcome ...because the emails i have received to confirm the order are all in german.
