  1. I've just handed mine back after 3 years leasing it. Like other people on here, It was also probably the best car I've ever had. Was so quiet and refined and drove so well. Was always amazed at the fuel economy, like others regularly got high 50s mpg. One of the only gripes I had was there was so many creaks, rattles and squeaks that did my head in and the dealership wouldn't do anything about. Unfortunately I wasn't able to keep it or buy it after the lease. Also the cost has went up so much it was well over my limit to get another one. I will really miss it.
  2. its booked in to get the brakes fixed tomorrow morning.
  3. So the service isn't due for another year according to the car. It was serviced last year, again when the car told me to have it serviced. It wasn't at a main dealer it was at my local garage I have been dealing with for years. Yeah I do live by the sea and, particularly during winter, it can get wild.
  4. So my Kamiq SE L is coming up to the 3 years mark and had its MOT'd yesterday and it Failed. Done 22000 miles and they say the rear break pads are worn and the disks are unstable and require to be changed. Kinda shocked at this on a car that has been looked after and a fairly low mileage. Interestingly my Dad's 4 year old Karoq failed for the same reason but the front the day before.
  5. I'd suspect thats to have the Android Auto Module Fitted.
  6. I know some older Skodas were like, You needed a module fitted for it to work, but I'm surprised the Kamiq is
  7. AA - Android Auto ACP - Apple Care Play. As I say I thought they were standard on all Kamiqs. I guess I could be Wrong
  8. My understanding was the S came with AA and ACP as standard.
  9. I have an S23 and it works fine with the Amundsen system
  10. I changed all the internal, including the boot, bulbs to LED with cheap ebay purchased bulbs and had no issues with any of them.
  11. A Kia Xceed GT Line. I'd have happily kept the Kamiq however it was a 3 year lease deal and I'm not able to keep it without paying a lot more for it per month. Again to go for another Kamiq was considerably more per month for a lower spec car (SE rather than the SE L I currently have)
  12. I think I realised pretty early on in my investigation it wasn't going to be worth doing so gave up on the idea. I only have 2 1/2 months left with my Kamiq until it needs to go back. Its probably been the best car I've ever had so will miss it :(.
  13. is it not only the Monte Carlo that has the Dynamic rear indicators? It was the last time I looked.
  14. I have the same issue where I get an SOS error on the dash and the light on the roof module goes off. Then the infotainment system freezes. Had it in the garage the other day to check it, was in all day then they called me at 4pm to tell me it needed a software update but this would take 2 hrs and they had ran out of time. I wasn't please. So it needs to go back in to have a software update. They said this was the first step. No mention of a replacement module though.
  15. I can definately comfirm this is not the case. Samsung phones, including the S23 are definately compatible. Hence Android Auto as well as Apple Carplay (for Apple Iphones)
