So what did u do to fix the problem. I dont have a fault but my no.2 injector is running at about 1.8. As for my starting problem, i'm going to fit a new ignition switch, i got a code come up for that so i will try that.

Will be having it through a feeding tube if ive got owt to do with it.

Just been speaking to a guy on fb he is having exact same problems with his. He has had compression check done and no compression from number 1. I think i will get thos compression checked and go from there, its really just ploughing money into it all the time. Its always had the right oil in it as ive always got it from tps, the quantum stuff. I'm going to see the fella that was working on it and have it out with him tomorrow cos it didnt judder under boost before he got it but it did rock all over when idling

I think its a valve thats gona tbh. I camt find any other problems for the misfire and the car shaking its tits off while driving.

I took it away from the mechanic. He had it 7 weeks and was ****ing me about so i just told him to i was coming to get car. He deffo wont be getting his hands on it again afyer i seen it had been thrown back together and he had snapped a rocker cover bolt. Rounded a injector off also. Proper boils my **** talking about it.

I will try this tomorrow, is that under rear seat?

The car is very bad at starting from cold also when warm. Ive just had it out to put diesel in got to a juntion and the engine is rocking its **** off. I really am sick of it. When it on odle from cold start its smooth as. But soon as i drive it it judders/misfires and when upto heat the engine shaking like a ****ting dog.

Yes. Still no luck 😡 Changed fuel filter, replaced injector and still has the judder under boost. And is ****e at starting from cold. Its got me fuming. The thing will get fired soon.

That is getting done tonight. So hipefully that sorts it. Just a process of elimination, cheap options first.

I have this problem. Had injector changed amd started juddering under boost in 2nd 3rd and so on. Deffo will be getting a new filter tomorrow and trying that 👌🏾

I have a 2008 vrs tdi. Its had an injector off according to the bloke that was working on it so was replaced, also replaced 3 heater plugs. Ever since they have been done the car had a really bad judder/shake when under boost. Has anyone had this problem before, its also still crap at starting when cold. Has anyone came across this problem? Any help appreciated. Thanks.

How can i find out if my head gasket is gone or the EGR cooler? 2.0tdi 170 2008.

No i dont have any records of old filters. I know the 1 i have just put in was just a cheap 1 so i am gona get a one ordered from vw see if it helps the problem.

I had my oil and filter changed about 6 weeks ago and noticed the filter was deformed and sucked in. Ive just checked the new filter and its happened to that new 1 also after about 6 weeks. Why could this be? Cheap filter maybe?

Found the leak. The bottom arrow is the water hose, and the top arrow is the solid water pipe that the rubber hose connects to. The solid water pipe is what has the leak. Has anyone had this problem before and know what they like to replace.

I cant find any leaks anywhere at all, its losing water whilst driving. I had the 3 pipes changed going to heater matrix few weeks ago as 1 had split in amd other 2 looked very worn with age so got all 3 done. Camt find any leaks at all anywhere. I have a new coolant bottle to fit just to eliminate that, and ive had it on a snap on computer and nothing is coming up. There is no sign of and white gunk in om the filler cap, is there any other way i can diagnose it being head gasket? The starting problem happens when cold and hot....

Hello, i'm new to the forum. Ive got a problem with my 2.0tdi 2008 vrs octy. I have an intermittent starting problem with the car, sometimes the car will just keep cranking over and not start, but if i leave it a few mins it will start but the car is running very lump and shaking, it does seem to start easier when the clutch is pressed. But not all the time. Has anyone had this problem? (Also there is no fault codes coming up) Also i'm having to top the water up every day, there is no visible leaks coming from anywhere, seems to lose the water whilst driving. Any help would be appreciated.
