  1. My car is a 2017 estate and it fits and works perfectly. Steve
  2. Thank you all, mine is now fitted. About 3 hours, less if you subtract the time spent staring at it and swearing! Things I have learned: On an estate you do have to take lower door trim off, but not necessarily the upper one; Some of that plastic coated spring which is designed to hold net curtains is fantastic for feeding through the wire; Go shopping before you start, not halfway through. Steve

  4. Thank you. I pulled it out with pliers, but the same effect.
  5. Ok, I know how now. The central "pin" pulls out, honest. Once that's out the clip is cable to collapse and comes out easily. At which point, you realise that it does not really improve access that much.
  6. As you might guess, I'm (trying) doing mine now.
  7. Sashagrace, where do you find, is the best place for the extra cable to be coiled when fitting the camera?
  8. Could it be a lack of shielding somewhere on the signal line. In guitar stuff noise is most often caused by this. Steve
  9. My camera arrived today, will fit in half term. Or this weekend if I get impatient!
  10. Thank you, all I got through google was the predictable Men in black I and II. Steve
  11. Hello, newbie question. What does MIB stand for? Thanks in advance.
  12. Two things have happened since reading this thread, I ordered a camera, and I joined this forum. Thank you for the inspiration, I'll let you know when it arrives and gets fitted.
