  1. Thanks for the info! I will have a look at doing the fronts 😊
  2. Also this is the rear passenger footwell 😳😳😳
  3. Good morning all, Hope everyone had a great Christmas 😊 For the last 2 months due to working from home and a new born baby (so mostly using the Yeti) I haven’t been using my Fabia VRS which has basically been stood still for quite a while! Yesterday I went to start the car and noticed a lot of condensation on the front and rear windows and also mould everywhere! There is also wet carpet on the driver footwell and also rear passenger (oddly front passenger and rear driver side are fine). I have read about the rear doors needing sealing however this was sorted by the previous owner maybe 3 years ago (do they need sealing more regular than this?) - also the bottom of the door cards were bone dry along with the rest of the door. The pollen filter does need changing but was also bone dry. I had also left the blower on max however last night I changed this to off and pointing at the foot wells but this morning is still condensation. There is slight water on the sill of the driver door (pictured below) and a bit of water on the inside of the rubber strip which maybe the issue? However I had this last winter with no condensation/mould issues as doesn’t seem to drip over in to the actual car. Does anyone have any other ideas on what this could be or could this be from not driving it properly for 2 months? I noticed on the two strips on the external roof there are gaps where it looks like a roof rack once was. Should there be some caps on this or are all Fabias like this? (Pictures below). I thought maybe this was leaking through here and down the pillar where the front seat belts are situated. Thanks in advance for the suggestions
  4. Thanks for the quick response mate. That makes sense and assumed there was some sort of anti trap system. When I trial fitted the one I didn’t actually attach any of the metal clip things as I just wanted to see how it looked therefore I assume I will need to adjust when refitting. I read online about leaving them fitted with the windows up for 24 hours to ā€˜bed in’. Does that actually work do you know? Thanks James
  5. Evening all, I am sure that this has been raised numerous times but I can’t see that it has ever been answered. I have bought a set of Team Heko wind deflectors for our 2017 SE L Yeti. I have just attempted to fit them (well, the front passenger side) however I have encountered a problem. When in place, I try to put the window up however I believe it is activating some sort of safety feature and after 3/4s of the way the window will stop and go back down. If I don’t let the window go up fully by itself, I can inch the window up (repeatedly pressing the switch up) which will then close the window fully. Is there a way around this or have I fitted them incorrectly?! Thanks James
  6. Evening all, I currently own a mk1 Fabia VRS (build on my old Briskoda account however cannot remember the username or even the email linked to it!) and my partner has a mk3 Fabia. We have recently had a baby and have decided to buy a Å koda Yeti to replace my Mrs’ Fabia. The agreements were signed digitally on Friday with the dealer however the MOT wasn’t sorted until late Friday evening meaning we could not get the car prior to ā€˜lockdown’. The car is the 1.2 TSI (110PS) SE L Drive Outdoor model (with DSG) in Quartz Grey with 20k on the clock. I don’t have much knowledge on the Yetis and the various models but I’m really excited to get it, especially with the DSG as I cannot believe how smooth the ride and gear ā€˜changes’ were! The car will remain pretty much standard however I am hoping to get some of the parts sprayed black I.e grill surround, badges, wing mirrors, wheels and then wind deflectors and fully tint the rear windows. I’ve tried to search the forums, google, Instagram for grey Yetis with the above but there aren’t many results, only the Monte Carlo models. Could someone please post some pictures? I am not a huge fan of the rear bumper as it is the one that is colour coded on top, then black trim finished with a silver trim at the bottom. Has anyone painted the silver section before? Thank you ā˜ŗļø James
