  1. Thank you. You mean to apply layer od silicone behind the teflon seal around the injector? any recomendation which product should I use?
  2. Hi Guys, I have a 2012 Octavia 2 1.8 tsi. Injector keep popping out of head. It was resealed twice. Its original Vag. There is no fuel leak. Its the tip of the injector popping out of head damaging teflon seal. Teflon seal was seated and pressed into place with original VW tool. Aby ideas what this might be? Mechanic speculates that hole where injector goes is rounded or bigger than it suppose to be. Aby help appreciated. Thank you.

  5. hi guys, same thing is happening to my car - Octavia MK2 2021, CDAA 1.8 TSI 118 Kw. Misfire on random cylinder and limp mode - random cylinder disabled. Only errors shown in diagnostics are p0300 and then p030x depending on which cylinder misfire occurs. Car is 3000 km after rebuild - new pistons, timing chain, PCV, fuel injectors, Timing Camshaft Control Valve Solenoid. what was checked: -fuel pressure checked - ok, -no air leak -PCV -eletric wiring - connectors and pins Any ideas what might cause the issue? help much appreciated. thanks.

  7. hey guys, I just got my car fixed : Octavia 2 2012 1,8 TSI. My mechanic replaced everything needed - new timing chains, tensioner, pistons (Kolben), PCV, gaskets, seals... He's done few of those engines before and he's working as professional mechanic on circuit cars- guy knows stuff. Now, the thing is the even after everything was changed engine still has a terrible oil consumption. (0.5l/1000 km) There are no visible leaks on the engine. I've bean assured that it takes some time for the parts to break-in and during this break-in period some oil consumption is normal. Reading through a various topics and success stories it seems it's not the case. Everybody who's been successful with new pistons have pretty much none oil consumption since repair. Any advise welcomed. Could it be turbo? Anything else? Thanks.
