I got the same problem as the one who wrote the topic. 2017 skoda octavia with 1.6 cr tdi is the patient. It have an ATE discs and brake pads like in the picture. Did anyone find a solution for the "clunk" noise? Or if i install those anti squeal self adhesive break pad shims will stop that frustrating noise?

Hello guys! I have to change my front right headlight because it cracked so bad(front side of the headlight). Just want to know that Do i have to get the same year of the headlight? If i change it do i have to code something? ((It's a led headlight made in 2017)) Thank you for your replys!

So yes it disappeared but today i see it again. It was just in one headlight as before. I hope there is a solution for it or should i need to remove the whole headlight to check it?

Hi Guys! I got a 2017, 1.6 crtdi, DDYA Octavia with LED headlights. The main problem is that everyone know. Some fog in the headlight, but in my case it just in the right. (yeah i know it will be disappear but it's not.) So the left one is full clear. There is no crack or something like that, my question is. Is there any ventilation thing? How can it cool down itself? I ask it because maybe its clogged. Sorry for that stupid question but i don't want to pay a huge amount of money to buy a new one. I hope there is a solution for it.

Hello guys! I have a 2017 octavia with 1.6 CR TDI engine (115HP). The time is here when i need to change the water pump with the timing belt. Searched for some kit and i found this one. https://www.autodoc.co.uk/gates/13671357 Is it good in my car? I asked that because of the water pump and there is non switchable and switchable pumps. ((My mechanic will change everything, i just wants to buy the kit)) Thank you so much!

I don't know, because i ordered with vin number. So i checked this website and picked the analog one. I choosed the Bosch one here, with Bosch discs too. https://webautocats.com/etka/part/5Q0698151C/

They used Bosch so not skoda/vw parts. Ordered it with VIN number. But if its the main problem, can you recommend a good type of pad? Here it is a pic. It was factory one before the change and it looks like they used clips

Hello guys! I got a problem with my break pads. If i hit a pothole, or a little poppin can be hear a knock sound from the pads. These pads are brand new ((like my brake discs)) but my mechanic told me that they can't do anything with that noise.... They used copper paste too... Is there any solution that work?
