  1. I feel you. I was lucky that it failed when the car was still under warranty.
  2. I don't know what was the actual error code. But I had the same symptoms and the garage said it's the faulty airbag module. It was exchanged under warranty.
  3. I had the same issue. Airbag module was actually faulty and it was exchanged under warranty.
  4. Yeah. I feel you. It's really pain in the a** to deal with warranty claims.
  5. Yes. You can check the two rubber stoppers that are mounted on the each fender. If they are screwed all the way in, you can try to unscrew them a bit. This can help. But maybe also the lock on the front will need to be adjusted.
  6. Not sure. I just saw quite a few reports of the same issue in different Skoda groups on Facebook.
  7. Hi. This is a known issue. The issue is in the bonnet not being correctly set causing too much pressure on the casing when you close it.
  8. @OccyVRS Japan Racing SL01 in gun metal color.
  9. If you really want to protect the paint and try to minimize the physical damages, PPF (paint protection film) is the best solution. But also quite more expansive than ceramic coating. Another thing is also to take care of places on the car where rust is most common. Underbody - you could do an additional rust protection to the underbody. I saw quite a lot reports about the rust forming on the back (hatch) door. Including myself. Resolution is by doing additional anti-rust impregnation of the inside of the door and removing the plastic covers on the bottom of the door. Another place where rust is also quite common is under front fenders behind the fender liner (between the wheel and the front doors) where all sort of dirt can accumulate over the time. Regular cleaning is recommended. Some pictures below.
  10. Aha. Now I know what you mean. I rarely use ECO mode. Maybe used it twice in my first year of ownership back in 2021 Not sure it does anything beside shifting down to he lowest possible gear.
  11. Great if she is holding for now. :) As you said, you will upgrade the clutch when needed. What's the boost button? This is something aftermarket?
  12. Nice upgrades. Similar to mine. Just mine is with a DSG. No upgraded clutch with that torque? As I read online, above 480 NM an upgraded clutch is highly recommended.
  13. What light? As far as I know there is no indication light for heated mirrors. And how did you check the warmth of the mirrors? The best way to check if they work or not is to give them a couple of breath blows so they fog up. And then turn the heating on.
  14. Re Skoda badge on the airbag. First 4.5 cars have still the old badge. Newer ones have Skoda lettering. Probably because they had still old stock of airbags.
  15. In these modern cars with many computer modules and sh** load of electronics, just a slight drop in voltage can cause communication issues between modules and sensors. So having many errors stored in computer is quite common.
