So, I recieved a phone call from Ms Kennan this afternoon. She is dealing with a couple of our cases as well as Kate Laws. First, she rang me at a time that I was available, which was after work for her, so I was impressed. She was clear Again that they are in contact with the factory and that the problem of KPH is 100% a software issue ( I was very interested in this as it seemed to most of us to be hardware). There have been a number of conversations and meetings higher up about the issues. I was explaining about the issue I have with the juddering in mine plus a couple of other things also. In all I was on the phone for 40 minutes and this is the second time which I have spoken to her. I know that the proof is in the pudding but I have been impressed. Also, she has promised to keep me updated every couple of days and I have a personal number for her, which I have tried and she was very happy to speak. Skoda UK do seem to be pushing. Just thought I would keep people up to date. I hope my faith is not misplaced, but I do feel more confident

how do you find out when your car was built?

I have been assured that I will be receiving a call from Kate Laws today. I will report back if there is further news. I also used the executive office email, got a delivery failure but then got a reply. Strange.

They know about this forum and claim to have read it as I have had anlong conversation with someone who mentioned it.

In other words, sacking us off! Not interested in hearing about it.

I would also recommend emailing/writing to anyone high up in Skoda. Email a complaint in on the Skoda website as well. Basically, register your dissatisfaction in as many places as possible.

In fairness, I do think we have been all sent to someone pretty senior. It's not being treated as a 'normal' complaint is my impression. I am hopeful. Hope I am right to be hopeful!

Yes, I believe that she is dealing with all of our cases. I am frustrated that no time frame is being mentioned to resolve the issue. It is simple, just replace th head unit.

Nothing from HJ yet, no. I hope that Skoda are moving on this now. I believe the issue has been sent to Skoda Technical and then to the factory.

Mine is going in on the same day. Will be interesting to see if the respective dealership can fix it. Please let me know how you go. Mine does the same saying offroad. Not found the sticker

Anyone find that you really have to slam the boot hard for it to shut properly? Also, anyone notice a 'jumping' of the engine. Like a misfire? It is not the cutting to 2 cylinders.

This is what I fear. Cant even go into the dealership personally to really push the case either.

Have you got a number/address for this you could pass on please? I will do the same. I have about had it now. I am speaking to my dealer today about an update and if there is none I am going to reject the car. So sad. Had enough of it wasting my time. Be interesting to see if I have to fight to get my money back or whether they will comply.

I'm not sure it is the change over to be honest. Think it is something else. Just a small judder at random. It's weird

I have found that the engine seems to skip every so often when driving, almost like misfiring without the noise. Its just a small jump from time to time. Is anyone experiencing anything similar?

I don't think class action is what is being suggested here. However, our cars are in contravention of the law. That is blatantly obvious. The motor ombudsman would be the next obviously place to go if HJ gets knowwhere. I have written to Whatcar, AutoExpress etc and had no replay. I will do so again. I am also planning to send a letter to the head of PR and the Head of Skoda UK (for whatever use that will do). It seems madness that a car that is in contravention of the law are being sold and not sorted. Surely, there can be arguing with this from Skoda.

Dies it actually change? I think we all have the option, but ours will not change to KPH on the main dash
