TCM BOSCH PROBLEM
Hello friends, I'm Chris, I write from South America, I have a problem of non-connection with the TCM of my Superb 2.8 v6 I have checked the voltage lines and they are arriving, also the ground line, there is some way to test the TCM via vag cable to my pc to see the errors disassembling and doing out of the car, thanks for your help

thank you Sepulchrave ... no, I haven't changed it yet. I'll do it tomorrow for tests and see if the engine stops shutting down

Fabia BBZ problems
no there is no coolant leaking from the tank cap, when the coolant is turned off it is quite hot but the expansion tank does not explode

Fabia BBZ problems
So now I will check the connections you say, but is it possible that the ECU when detecting that the car is very hot (despite not marking more than 90 degrees on the panel) causes the engine to turn off ???

Fabia BBZ problems
The ones that look like very thin cans? if all check them and they are correct, disassemble the relay module that handles the ignition of the fans (I send a reference image) and I just tested them and it works, I also checked the voltages on the lines and they have 12v but I have no negative, I think this comes from the thermoswitch that is on the radiator when the coolant reaches the temperature (you say it must be 96 degrees) definitely when the car is hot there is no negative signal either

Thanks Wino, I have checked all the fuses and there are none broken, I have checked them with my multimeter, is there somewhere else I should look for ???

Fabia BBZ problems
Thanks Ken for your answer ... If it is correct, I just did a test and the connector of the electric fans I made a bridge canceling the thermoswitch that is in the radiator and the fans turn on without problem in both speeds, apparently my thermoswitch is damaged, vagcom it does not show any error nor does it with the fans, it may be that the problem is generated by the temperature of the motor by not turning on the fans ???

Fabia BBZ problems
Hi Wino and Hello everyone, I have already checked the possible vacuum leaks and I did not find any, vagcom does not show any error even when the car is turned off but I keep it accelerated, I noticed something a little strange and the fans do not turn on when the car reaches the temperature 90 degrees, then apparently my car is overheating I know because the engine feels very hot, but the screen continues to show 90 degrees, could it be a temperature problem and that the ECU protects the engine by turning it off? all this is very strange, just in case I don't have any errors in my vagcom, my car is a fabia BBZ 1.4 16v 2007 and I am using vagcom version 311 .. thank you all for your kind help

Fabia BBZ problems
Thanks really to all of you who are in your precious time thinking about my problem, today I saw something strange in my reviews, exactly when the car is close to shutting down at idle, I hear a strange sound coming from the diaphragm of the vent casing of the crankcase, there is a small hole in the casing and from there I hear a hum as if it expelled or sucked air I do not know specifically, my ventilation casing was also changed a while ago but I had no results

Fabia BBZ problems
Hello thanks for helping, I have already checked the vacuum lines a little before and I saw something perhaps strange, the hose that goes from the throttle body to the crankcase ventilation housing does not fit completely on one of its sides, it is possible that there the problem is caused how can I check it?

Fabia BBZ problems
Hello thanks for the answer, a few days ago I changed my precat probe already, I had a short in the probe itself that was already repaired, then I made a tour and the dtc of S1 B1 has not returned, you know where else I should check vacuum leaks apart from servo hose ?? I have my car and I can't use it. Thank you.

Fabia BBZ problems
Hi my name is Chris...Hello everyone, before I would like to congratulate you all because I have always read very good information from this forum and I know that you are all helping other people a lot ... I would like to tell you about my case, my fabia (BBZ 1.4 16v) has been giving me problems for a long time and I have not used it for almost 1 year because of this, when turning on it does it perfectly but after 15 min it tries to turn off, if not I keep it accelerated it turns off, for this reason it is impossible to be on the road because it turns off at the red light or at stop, I have a Vag cable and I use it with my version 311.2 and I don't have any DTCs in autoscan the truth is all so confusing, I hope someone has gone through this, additionally my throttle body is clean adjusted ok, my spark plugs are clean, my air filter it's new, my fuel filter is new, my fuel pump is ok, when it turns off if I do an Autoscan there is also no DTC, if it helps friends.

- Fabia 1.4 16v Bbz sound in crankcase breather
Hello Wino and Sepulchrave ..thanks you first of all for your help, when I put my finger in the hole of the breather, there is a slight suction but after a few minutes of starting the engine, there is a strange sound from the breather some vibration too, this is my last vagcom session and I still have the same problem if not I keep it accelerated it turns off in idle ... thanks to all- Fabia 1.4 16v Bbz sound in crankcase breather

Hello friends, my name is chris and I wanted to tell you about a problem that I have been having with my fabia, when I start it it makes it perfect without problems but after driving it or idling for 10-15 minutes it turns off if I do not accelerate it, when that happens I have I have to wait 45 more minutes so that I can turn it on again, I have used vagcom and I only have a B1 S1 lambda probe error, but I do not think that is my cause of the problem, the throttle body and EGR are clean and adapted, spark plugs new, changed a while ago the air filter and breather valve of the crankcase, because a hose broke and I decided to change everything, but from there my problems began I hear a sound like suction or expulsion of air in the small hole that is in the diaphragm cover of the vent, when that happens after a few seconds it turns off, before I thought I had an electrical problem or something like that but I think my problem has to do with gases or vacuum, one of the photos that I uploaded belongs to friend Wino, thanks for your contribution.- Abnormal fuel consumption problems
Hi Wino, my name is Chris, i see your motor photo I want to consult you, my skoda fabia 1.4 16v bbz, it has been turning off after a 10-15 minutes at idle, previously I had problems with my respirator that you point out in photos and it was changed for a generic VYKA brand, but now it keeps turning off and I hear a sound like if it were to blow from the small hole in the vent (on one side of the diaphragm) is this normal ?? additionally I only have an error in my lambda probe B1 S1 that I do not think is the cause of my car turning off, the sound of the breather is very loud at times and then it loses power and turns off, I appreciate your help friend.- Skoda fabia 1.4 16v bbz problems
Hi Pisti, thanks for your time to answer me , I checked just yesterday the wiring with a diagram that I found in cardign.com and the cables are correct without shorts to positive or ground, but I remembered something that the service told me, that many years ago my car had damage and it was disarmed they had disarmed the entire lambda probe connector and then they put it back together (you know 1-yellow 2-blue well I think that's the way I don't remember) but I don't know if they did it right or maybe they were wrong In the color pin of the cable, I have tried to search the internet for the order of colors of the pre cat lambda probe but I have not found it I know that it is an NTK but I do not know the colors and pins maybe my problem is there... thanks friends- Skoda fabia 1.4 16v bbz problems
But it is possible that the pre cat lambda probe causes the engine to turn off, I had seen cases in which it causes greater fuel consumption, all this is very rare, tomorrow I will change the radiator temperature sensor too, you know the color diagram of the lambda probe pre cat ?? Thanks for your help friend- Skoda fabia 1.4 16v bbz problems
Hello friends, thanks for the answer, here is my last Vagcom session, my EGR, TB are clean and with adjustment made, the service already made an intake cleaning, my car was not subjected to low oil pressure so I rule out a mechanical damage, the first 10-15 minutes of ignition of the car are very good, then at idle if I do not accelerate the car the engine turns off, I have carried out a test of the ignition coils and I think they are correct too, Vagcom does not indicate any misfire in cylinders, the temperature is also marked well on the dash, but I also found a problem in the radiator temperature sensor and it does not activate the fans, the relay under the battery is correct I disassembled it and checked its circuit but I have problems with the sensor temperature that is in the radiator, can this cause my car to turn off, my temperature does not rise above 90 degrees on the dashboard or in Vagcom before turning off, I have been thinking about a theory that re I saw in diagram how, if I have a short to positive in both lambda probe and this wiring is related to injectors and fuel pump is it possible that is my cause of the problem? That is to say, does the short make the injectors not pump stop? additionally my fuel pump was measured and the pressure was within the parameters, my spark plugs were changed and my injectors cleaned, I appreciate your help friend VAG-COM Version: Release 311.2-N Control Module Part Number: 036 906 034 FF Component and/or Version: MARELLI 4MV G 6224 Software Coding: 00061 Work Shop Code: WSC 13765 Additional Info: TMBPD16Y474006084 SKZ7Z0F3471296 2 Faults Found: 17604 - Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor Heater Circuit: B1 S1: Electrical Malfunction P1196 - 35-00 - - 17591 - Linear O2 Sensor: Reference Voltage: Short to Plus P1183 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent- Skoda fabia 1.4 16v bbz problems
Hi friends, my name is Chris from Ecuador, I had read them before but had not registered, I have a problem with my skoda fabia 1.4 16v bbz a while ago while I was driving the oil light on the panel came on, I stopped and opened the engine and my oil was spread everywhere, my pcv La The hose had broken I decided to change it for a new one and that day started my problems, they changed it in the skoda service then my car that day turns off if I don't accelerate it, this happens after 15 minutes of ignition, then I wait 45 more minutes and you can turn it on. As additional information I do not have any witness on the panel of my vag only two errors appear (probe B1S2 short to positive and probe B1S1 electrical fault) I do not know if these errors can cause my skoda fabia to stop at idle. - Fabia 1.4 16v Bbz sound in crankcase breather
