I have the same issue in my 21 TDI RS. It was diagnosed in Skoda service 2 weeks ago and tomorrow they will replace some parts, after that I can let you know what was done. My car is still on warranty (extended 4years) so at least I don't have to pay for it.

Looks like my module has slightly different numbers which could explain compatibility issues.

4 RS TDI. It does turn off start/stop immediately when you press ignition button.

Looks the same, I did not check for any errors, there is nothing on the dash and everything is fine, I had like 10 journeys today without any problems. You connect the cable between original cable and the socket as in the picture above. You remove cable with pink connector release, plug in cable there and plug original cable into new cable.

I've installed it today, works like a dream

True, the most annoying part is when you slow down before red light your speed is 5kph then light changes to green and engine shuts down... Or when you maneuver on a parking lot reverse>1st>reverse etc. and it can shut down too

For anyone interested, as I suspected it was pretty straight forward once I received the cables. As for sound quality on standard speakers with added Kenwood KSC-SW11 Subwoofer (can be seen under the seat) I can see the improvement in general quality and clearance, bass has more punch and rock/metal sounds more clear & alive than before, Sepultura Roots Bloody Roots doesn't sound like one ugly sound anymore and you can actually recognize different instruments which was my goal and that particular track proved me this Pioneer actually made a difference. Of course its not as good as replacing standard speakers (my next step) but, its good improvement for the price and very little time and effort needed (50min total).

Thanks, assuming I have above, what would I need to connect to what, are you able to match the numbers? Explain like I'm five years old Like 1 > 1, 2 > 2, 3 >3? 4 > ? etc. I think once I'd have it then it would be straight forward, but I just want to have some kind of confirmation if possible.

I plan to install Pioneer DM G1004, but I found mixed information on cabling, can anyone who installed this amp, or any similar can confirm - do I need any additional cable harness or will it work plug & play with cables it comes with?

That looks cool, I'm waiting for my grey RS with black 18 inch rims, anyone has seen pics with spacers on similar setup with stock suspension? I'm considering 15mm spacers per wheel.
