  1. Today I've added a space at the end of my nickname on skoda site, and the sync now has upadtated the name shown on columbus with the nicknaname setted on skoda site. Finally the sync has worked. Anyway this is a very bad system, full of bug and badly designed.
  2. Answered too fast.... After a few days, the car has started to not recognize the key anymore, and selecting a users randomly between the 2 registered.
  3. Thanks!! That's finally solve the problem on my wife's car. Also the dealer wasn't able to link a user to a key. With mib 3 the personalisation option has been removed, and this procedure is not well documented.
  4. I've search through the menu and I've not found the Personalization option. Maybe I have not this feature. I've read somewhere that is possibile to activateit through odb. I will make some research. Thanks
  5. Today I tested the procedure with opening the car with my wife's key by registering her sitting position on the seat (without pressing any buttons on the key). When I opened the car in the afternoon, with my wife's key, the initial user was correctly set to my wife's user. As I was driving I selected my user on the Columbus and the system correctly loaded my settings by placing the seat on my registered preference and all. We parked the car, and when we took it back, always with my wife's key, the car welcomed my user and not my wife's user, so I realized that there was no no synchronization between the key and the selected user. Did I miss something? What is the key saddle button I should press when setting the seat position? (from your message I don't see any image of the button, just a small square)
  6. Hello, I have a question: Two users have been configured in the Columbus in my wife's Kodiaq. I am the main user and my wife as the other user. She pointed out to me that when she gets into the car, the selected user is always mine, even though she was the last to drive it. When it happens to me to take the car, sometimes my user is activated, and sometimes my wife's. I didn't understand if there is any logic in the car's user selection. It looks casual. Of course, the last user who was selected is not proposed. Anyone have any information on this? Thank you Edika
  7. Probably there is not the option to set 'Settings' as a favourite because it is a main option of the main Menu. You can access it by using Menu=>Settings. Are the same 2 step needed to open Favourite=>Settings.
  8. No the available widget are all shown there. You can setup some favourite (even settings) in the profile serttings, visible by scrolling down the display from the top.
  9. Depending by the tile format you choose (1x1, 2x2), the home screen change format. YOu cannot add a third tile becase the 2 tile present on the left are already the minimum size. The toal size of the screen is 3x2, so you can use only or 6 tile or 3 tile. In mine for example I have set the 2x2 tiel with the map on the left and the other 2 tiles on the right. You can use the widget only oncem so if you use the phone widget in the home screen you cannot use it anymore (eg, in the second screen). When you fill the second screen with al widget, the home button will show the first page. Until that you have to scroll the page to show the home page. This is what I understand from the strange logic of this system.
  10. The reboot procedure does not reset the system? My user is synched everytime I access it. Also I0ve forced a sync manually and it works perfectly. Simply does not take the changes made on Skoda Connect Account.
  11. edika changed their profile photo
  12. I've received an answer from an aftermarket dealer (navistore.it) and they say the MIB 3 does not have MDI interface and there's no way to make an ipod with 30 pin cable to be readable from the appliance.
  13. What you mean when you say 'reboot'?
  14. It's not a cable problem, without an MDI interface or a software decoder the system is unable to read the ipod library.
  15. So the only way to have a personal library is to have an usb key connected all the time? No internal drive in mib3 right?
