I’d be very interested to hear how this problem was resolved. Almost a year to the day I’ve got the exact same problem with my daughters 08 Octavia Mk2 . So far I’ve inspected the drivers side door bellow and found two previously (badly) repaired wires (she’s had the car ~10years so repair must have been +/- 2 years from new and I’m amazed its lasted that long...). The two wires were the brown and yellow coming from the lower yellow connector on the A post. It seemed that at least one repair had fallen apart but after making good the connections the problem remains so perhaps that was just a red herring. Nothing works on the passenger side doors (locking, windows). I don’t have the wiring diagram and I’m wondering if there is any common power or signal (canbus?) fed from the drivers door that might effect all the functions on the passenger side. If there is and I can repair then perhaps I don’t have to try and rip off the door card from the locked doors on the passenger side and investigate there.
