Amundsen MIB2 Firmware Update
Hi everyone, I currently have this SW train version: MST2_EU_SK_ZR_P0253T Is there anything newer that is compatible with this version? I know there is a 0480, but that one is not compatible, at least without some modifications it seems.

Kick when going in reverse
Thank you for that @SurreyJohn, that's good to know. But honestly I'm not sure if that is the issue here, since I got the brakes checked and they seem fine. Since this is not happening at start of reversing, but during reversing in which the brake is not applied at all. But again, I'm not an expert, so I guess everything is possible. So it happens like this: The car is slightly moving in reverse on a small hill. Brake pedal is released, the car start moving a little bit. Since it cannot handle the hill on idle RPM's, I need to press the gas pedal. I press the pedal and the car starts to move, and in case i release the gas pedal, the revs start to drop, and this is when I feel this kick. Maybe this explanation makes more sense. And thanks everyone for your replies.

Kick when going in reverse
No, I've disabled that. And it happens only in the reverse gear, when there is higher load I guess (moving backwards on a hill) Besides that, the car behaves perfectly.

Kick when going in reverse
Thanks, I will first try to figure out what is wrong. I'm hoping it's just a engine mount or something similar.

Kick when going in reverse
Hello everyone, I recently started to notice that when I'm parking my car in reverse on a small hill, I feel some kind of a kick in the engine/transmission. It's hard to explain, but when the car is moving and I have my gas pedal pressed, it seems fine. But when I release the pedal, and the revs go back to idle, there is a noticeable kick that can be felt, and also a metallic noise coming from the beneath of the car (at least that's how it sounds to me) Did someone else experience same or similar issue? Thanks in advance.

Battery SOC
Hi, it's AGM as far as I know.
-
Battery SOC
It's starting the car but not so quick as it should. I went to a specialist who told me that the charge level is really low, although the battery itself is totally fine. So the quick drive on a motorway would not completely solve it. I guess it needs really long drive or charging
-
Battery SOC
Exactly. So only way is to remove it and charge it home

Battery SOC
I need to take out the battery to be able to charge it, so it would be out of the car for couple of hours. Not sure if that could cause any issues.
-
Battery SOC
BTW, I'm wondering what will happen if I take out the battery out of the car to charge it? Will everything reset, like the settings in the car, windows, remote locking, etc.

Battery SOC
Hi, thank you. So basically, the option is there on the screen but it doesn't show anything Good to know.

Battery SOC
Hi, When I enter the menu to check the SOC (State of Charge) of the battery, I always get the same -> --% Does anyone knows what is the problem? Is there something wrong or is my car missing this option? Thanks in advance

Retrofit bigger screen
Well, the date of first registration is 2016, but I'm not sure if the production date is also 2016. I guess there is a way to check that, but I don't know how And thanks for the information about the removal tools, I will order them.

Retrofit bigger screen
Thank you for your reply. I was not sure if my unit is MIB1 or MIB2 (it's all new to me) So I guess I should look for part number 3V0919606. Do you know where I could find a tutorial on how to remove the screen? Thanks in advance.

Retrofit bigger screen
Hello everyone, I recently bought a MK3 Superb (year 2016) It came with a smaller screen (6.5 inches I think), and I wondered if it's possible to install a bigger one (8 inches I guess) I dug a a little on the forum and found a lot of the same topics, but in the end I'm not sure if that is possible or not. Can someone answer me if it's possible just to install bigger screen without any other modifications? I will attach the screenshot of the hardware version I found in the settings.
