Maybe all of us from Slovenia could actually get together and try to get answers from importer as a group....

Maybe it really is 7th week of 2023...nevertheless this is just shy of 2 years.

Delivery estimate was 6 months 🙄

Just a quick update - I was at the dealer today, my car now has provisional date 07/23 so July 2023 - I honestly have no words.....

yes - and blind spot detection and matrix headlights, which are also a problem....

I was at the dealer on Monday -my car ordered 11.03.2021 is showing delivery date week 22, so June 2022 -altogether 15 months. But the dealer is skeptical and is saying not to take that for a fact. What is more interesting - a car that he ordered for himself on 12.03.2021 (same VRS diesel hatch) was delivered almost 2 months ago and he ordered another car in on 11.09.2021 (VRS petrol hatch) which is showing delivery date week 18.

Waiting from March 2021 - so I may be the winner/looser in this waiting game

So the same dealer, we both have diesel hatchback - you ordered in april and your car is in production, I ordered mine in march and my car is still not in production. Wtf?

11 months for me... And I think somebody ordered in February 21

That is ridiculous - imagine that my order gets cancelled by the factory, after waiting for almost a year? Is that even legal? Can I as a customer even do something about that - I mean they cant just cancel and f**k you...what about the damages and deposit stuff??

When I spoke to my dealer (Slovenia) he said for Octavia the waiting time is +1 year, for new orders.

He doesn't know anything... The order looks normal. He ordered the same specs for himself one day behind me and got the car 14 days ago... He is very sorry, but he cannot do anything. Honestly don't know what to do. Maybe buy something else.. Like ds4 or 308? But they don't compare to Vrs, so I guess I'm waiting...

Talked to the dealer. The car now got provisional date... Middle of the year. F**k me.

The biggest problem is the lack of information. If when ordered the dealer would say the wait period will be a year - I would not order that car. That's a fact. But he said 3 months or the most 6 months...and when that time passed there were never any new information. So now we are all in the dark - I'm waiting 11 months and it could easily be another 2 or 3 or more.... So what can I do? I cannot cancel because maybe the car will be here in 14 days and I would just shoot myself in the knee... I honestly cannot believe that there is NO INFORMATION and no one to turn to..... really disappointing

Both these features are also a problem in my car - but the dealer doesn't know how much sooner the car will be built if I take them away....

Yeah that exactly what I did... The dealer had no info so I turned to the importer. They said the same, the only difference is they also said that the car has not gone to production yet and there is no date....

Calm on the outside maybe... Otherwise I'm mad as hell, but what can I do??

F**k---that was fast ...Congrats to you. In the meantime main importer for Slovenia informed me that my car ordered 10 march 2021 has not entered production yet...
