Yes I`m having the same issue for sometime now and it`s driving me crazy. Had my car at the dealer 3 times for that and they did not fix a thing. Going to try to do that myself - thanks for the tip Mario.

Does your car have sound actuator... Fake engine sound? Mine is ratling at 2000 rpm... The noise comes from sound box under the windshield

I have this screen as you posted above. But how do I get Maps app to run fullscreen?? So no Spotify on the right side, just Maps full screen?

Hey guys - just updated my AA and I also have now the new look. But it is the same split screen (1/3, 2/3). If I play around with clicking different apps (maps, spotify, notifications) sometimes the maps stay in full screen mode, but I cannot get them to stay like that by default. So basically the default is still split screen and there is no layout settings to permanently switch to full screen...Am I missing something?

Hey, if I may borrow the topic for one question - does octavia (without Canton) have a speaker in the center of the dashboard? I have started listening to jazz music and even on medium volume I hear sort of buzzing/distortion on high tones coming from center console - al least it sound like is coming from there. The sound is like the speaker is broken and cannot play certain tones...

Yes I did. I turned the wheel heating on and adjusted it a couple of times. You're right.. The lights turned on after that. That's not normal is it?

So, finally the winter is here in Slovenia and as its supposed to be the temperatures are now below zero degrees. We even had our first snow in the lower regions. So my Octy has seen snow for the first time and went mad - all the lights came on (assistance system errors) This got me thinking - is this a bug or a feature. Does my Octy know its Christmas time and switches lights on automatically - giving me my personalized Christmas décor? Or is this a bug? On a serious note - so I get it, when the car is covered in snow and the sensors are covered or dirty or frozen?? they could not work and the errors are normal. But when this is not the case and the only thing is that the temperature is below zero degrees, is it normal for assistance systems to not work? Talking about front assist, ACC, side assist....and all others (don't even know which turned on as it was impossible to read during driving)? See the attached picture to see more (disregard the air bag light - this is a bug and I'm waiting for some new part to arrive).

Did you buy new "exhaust tips"...or had it painted?

Coming of Citroën, which is known for its plush soft suspension, to octavia vrs, i have to say I'm loving the car. Of course it's stiffer, but that's exactly what I want. I have 0 problems on mine, best car ever. It sounds like this car is not for you, you chose the wrong car... It's not the cars problem. Didn't you test drove the car before buying it?

The last OTA Update fixed my issue with call diverting to phone instead car speakers. S that now works. I have a question for other AA users - is it possible to change what shows on the screen. So my AA works as it has 3/4 of the screen for main app and 1/4 for second app used. Is it possible to select to only have lets say Spotify on full screen - or select 1/2 and 1/2?? Or is this 3/4 and 1/4 the only way?

The noise comes from sound generator and not the infotainment speakers. It's a seperate box under the windshield wipers... At least that's what the mk3 forum says..

Hey, found this topic for Octavia Mk III, and I'm wondering if anyone has this problems on their Mk IV Octavia. My vRS sound generator rattles when the engine reaches 2000 RPM. Its quite annoying...

Got another update today - this is the second one in two weeks. Still don't know what was updated, but I'm glad that phone calls now automatically switch to car speakers and not the phone....

Hello, my voice command and sat nav have a man's voice, which I don't like, can I change it back to the lady's voice..? I went thorough the settings but cant find the option to change it....

Thx -I found the one you are referring to - but it disables only the eco tips. - I have done this, but the one I was thinking, which disables the warnings to get the foot off the accelerator is not here. I did some digging and found it in, assist systems/all assistance systems/eco assist. Thanks for you feedback
