Unfortunately Leolito I found that my car was made just before DCC came in, so even though I have Sport etc settings in my dash control system it only has an effect on the DSG and engine response not the suspension settings (I just thought the system had become subtle or hibernating). I am back to talking to Ebach about new springs and shocks probably at the front only to start with, as finances allow.

Another question from a "non tech user" - my 2017 Superb has : Device part number : 3V0035045C Hardware : H50 Software : 0702 System Information 1st line : CLU6_MMX2_SK_ER_G11_138PROD-1 I have tried looking up its details on the MIB Product Number database but it does not recognise any of these details ?? Any help in guiding me to an appropriate update would be appreciated - it keeps on shutting down Android Auto on long trips and sometimes becomes difficult to get past the Smartlink screen on startup. I thought this might be an indication of the firmware needing updating ?

I am headed towards Eibach for a spring/shock package to raise the car 20-30mm. Would anyone know the part numbers for front and rear springs for a Skoda Mk3 wagon in Style configuration ?

Hi MartiniB, thanks you have given me some hope that I may be able to get some direct shipped from Europe if the Australian Bilstien agent can't source them. Would your data bank for the suspension change know the part number for a rear shock for a wagon ? I presume the sedan rear shock you have used is a different part number ?

I have now owned my new to me Superb Mkiii Wagon for 3 months and 5,000 km. I have swapped out the 19" wheels for 17" and gone to 235/55 x 17 tyres to try to get more compliance on our scrappy back roads. The change has helped a lot but I have enquired about Bilstein shocks for it and been told ones for my model are not obtainable in Australia. My car is a Style variant and has Sport/normal/ economy modes selectable by push button on the console. I would be even willing to install standard Skoda regular height (not Style or Sport)springs and shocks to get away from the paranoia I have on roads I drive on. I have touched the front underbody down too many times at speed to not try and make a change ! Any advice would be appreciated !

Would anybody know where to get a mirror glass with heater element for the passengers mirror ? I am in Australia and it is deceptive when you overtake and use the side mirror to judge when you are clear of the overtaken car - I do head checks before moving in front of the following car, but would enjoy that mirror not exaggerating the distance.

Interesting that everyone has gone for wider tyres 245 width. On my last Superb I went the other way and went for the same width and up from a 40 profile to a 50 profile to give more sidewall. I will head into a tyre fitting place and have a discussion with them - great to know that a 245 will not foul the guards !

I have just purchased a 2016 Superb Sportline Wagon having moved from a 2014 Superb Outdoor 4x4. I am considering moving to a 235/40 x 19 tyre to a 235/45 x 19 tyre to give the car a little more compliance over very badly potholed roads. I did this also on my previous Outdoor with 18" wheels for the same reason. Has anyone done this successfully on a Sportline ? I am a little concerned about the lower tyre clearance in the guards ?

I have downloaded the 24 nav file onto an SD card. If I install it onto my Columbus does it mean I have to leave that card in the slot or does it install to the unit and I can remove the card afterwards ?

The car is a 2014/5 and the wheel is from a 2017 car. The buttons are all the same except just one. The wiring of the internal wheel harness is all swapped around and all the buttons operate the incorrect functions. I am now on the hunt for a 2014/5 paddle wheel button unit to fit to the wheel. Cannot order a unit from Skoda as they will only order parts by VIN number.
